Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Carlin&nbsp;Site Services Facility Technicians will be responsible for keeping mining facilities functioning and in good order. Work includes outdoor, mine setting, which may include exposure to large equipment, working on uneven surfaces, working in extreme temperatures.</p><p>At Nevada Gold Mines we are committed to a safe work environment sending every person home safe and healthy every day and leaving a sustainable legacy on our host communities. We offer a generous benefits package which includes a competitive medical, dental, and vision plan with national provider networks, a 401k retirement plan with employer contribution, paid time off, company-sponsored medical clinics, company match share purchase program, and much more!</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Safely and effectively perform maintenance on industrial, commercial and residential facilities.</li><li>Safely and effectively perform facility repair and remodeling.</li><li>Safely and effectively perform concrete flat work, tile, drywall, painting and welding.</li><li>Safely and effectively operate excavation equipment and tools.</li><li>Safely and effectively perform roof repairs.</li><li>Safely and effectively perform door and lockset repairs.</li><li><a target=\"_blank\">Safely and effectively perform plumbing repairs.</a></li><li>Work closely with HVAC technicians to perform needed replacement and repairs.</li><li>Accurately read blueprints for facilities.</li><li>Safely and effectively perform low voltage electrical work.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High School diploma or GED&nbsp;preferred.</li><li>Excavation equipment experience&nbsp;preferred.</li><li>2 years previous construction and maintenance experience is&nbsp;preferred.</li><li>Valid drivers’ license is&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\">required.</a></li><li>4 years Mining experience is&nbsp;preferred.</li><li>Overhead door repair experience&nbsp;preferred.</li><li>Ability to lift and carry at least 90 pounds&nbsp;required.</li><li>SAP knowledge preferred.</li><li>Electrical experience / training&nbsp;required.</li><li>Plumbing, carpentry, welding, concrete and HVAC knowledge required.</li><li>CDL preferred</li><li>Perform job responsibilities with integrity under minimal to no supervision&nbsp;required.</li><li>Proven attention to detail with a high level of accuracy&nbsp;required.</li><li>Excellent organizational, time management skills&nbsp;required.</li><li>Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently&nbsp;required.</li><li>Demonstrated well-developed interpersonal skills, with a courteous and pleasant customer service focus&nbsp;required.</li><li>Excellent verbal, written, and radio communication skills&nbsp;required.</li><li>Capability to multi-task, self-manage and self-motivate&nbsp;required.</li><li>Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards&nbsp;required.</li><li>Willingness to work weekends and possible overtime&nbsp;required.</li><li><a target=\"_blank\">Willingness</a>&nbsp;to work in inclement weather conditions&nbsp;required.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><i><strong>&nbsp;</strong></i><strong>What We Can Offer You:&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>A comprehensive compensation package including bonuses benefits, and stock purchase plans where applicable</li><li>Ability to make a difference and lasting impact</li><li>Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team</li><li>An Opportunity to transform Traditional Mining into&nbsp;the future of&nbsp;Digital Mining</li><li>Opportunities to grow and learn with the industry colleagues are endless</li><li>Access to a variety of career opportunities across Nevada Gold Mine locations</li></ul><p>#LI-JB1</p><p>Thank you for your application, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.</p>",
