    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<div>\n <b>Job Title:&nbsp; Automation Technician&nbsp;&nbsp;</b>\n</div>\n<div>\n <br/>\n</div>\n<div>\n <b>Job Summary&nbsp;</b>\n</div>\n<div>\n Serve as a plant resource for line improvements, line automation, realignment of product flow equipment and machinery in conjunction with Engineering and Maintenance. &nbsp;\n</div>\n<div>\n <b><br/></b>\n</div>\n<div>\n <b>Responsibility&nbsp;</b>\n</div>\n<div>\n <ul>\n  <li>Work with manufacturing engineers, project engineers, and program managers, set up personnel and maintenance departments to reduce costs and remove non-value-added material from productions lines. &nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Work with program managers and project engineers at the APQP stage of a program start-up. &nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Plan assigned work in an efficient method to minimize machine downtime while ensuring employee safety is maintained. &nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Troubleshoot process automation problems. &nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Work with engineering following PPAP approval in resolving non-value-added processes. &nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Work in design stage of processes both for start-up and current production projects. &nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Ensure all new and rebuilt equipment has all features required by CSA, OSHA, and Electrical Safety Code. &nbsp;</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div>\n <br/>\n</div>\n<div>\n <b>Academic/Educational Requirements&nbsp;</b>\n</div>\n<div>\n <ul>\n  <li>Completed three-year program in electrical or mechanical technology. &nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Trade license in Industrial Electrical Maintenance (442A).  &nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Electronics Technician/Technologist Certificate, Electrician Qualification or equivalent. &nbsp;</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div>\n <br/>\n</div>\n<div>\n <b>Required Skills/Experience&nbsp;</b>\n</div>\n<div>\n <ul>\n  <li>Minimum requirement of three years’ experience in CNC and robotic repair/ programming. &nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Understanding of electrical / electronic schematic diagrams, blueprints and pneumatic/hydraulic systems. &nbsp;</li>\n  <li> Ability to refer to quality specification forms to verify that products comply with required standards for dimensions, material compositions and tolerance levels for strength, durability and stress tests. &nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Ability to evaluate the condition of damaged mechanical equipment and make recommendations for repair or replacement.  &nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Participate in meetings with supervisors, co-workers and employees to plan upcoming activities and to update projects. &nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Ability to work independently and within a team-based environment. &nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Knowledge of advanced PLC programming including Allan Bradley, ControlLogix/RS Logix, Siemens S7, Fanuc. &nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Knowledge of robot systems (ABB, Motoman). Basic knowledge of computer networking, Ethernet connections, TCP/IP protocol.
