This role focuses on short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing care, and long-term support for Veterans transitioning from acute care to home or community environments.</p>\n<h2>Primary Responsibilities</h2>\n<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans</li>\n <li>Administer medications, IV therapy, tube feedings, and wound care</li>\n <li>Provide tracheostomy care, catheter management, and chronic disease support</li>\n <li>Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)</li>\n <li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support recovery and discharge planning</li>\n <li>Document care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)</li>\n <li>Respond to medical emergencies and changes in patient condition</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Post-acute rehab, dementia care, hospice, and skilled nursing units</li>\n <li>Patient population includes rehabilitation, respiratory, cognitive impairment, and end-of-life care</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Minimum Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE)</li>\n <li>Active RN license (Ohio or compact state)</li>\n <li>Current BLS certification (ACLS required for ICU/ED)</li>\n <li>Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience</li>\n <li>Strong English communication and documentation skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays</li>\n <li>Completion of VA-required training (safety, HIPAA, EHR, etc.)</li>\n <li>Compliance with credentialing and privileging standards</li>\n <li>Ability to float between units as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Aptive</h2>\n<p>Arrow ARC supports Veterans Health Administration facilities and offices across the U.S. with health care staffing and program support via the 10-year Integrated Critical Staffing Program (ICSP).
