          "text": "<p><strong>POSITION OVERVIEW</strong></p><p>The <strong>Corporate Accounting Manager</strong> is responsible for overseeing the company’s general accounting operations, financial reporting processes, and month-end close activities. This role manages accounting staff, ensures compliance with GAAP and internal controls, and supports the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical accounting knowledge, analytical capabilities, and experience improving accounting processes.</p><p><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Manage a team and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger activities, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.</li><li>Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.</li><li>Review and approve account reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules.</li><li>Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements and variance reports.</li><li>Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls.</li><li>Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff to support team performance and professional growth.</li><li>Partner with FP&amp;A, tax, payroll, treasury, and operational teams on financial reporting and business initiatives.</li><li>Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and increased efficiency within accounting operations.</li><li>Support ERP system implementations, upgrades, and process optimization projects.</li><li>Assist with technical accounting research and preparation of accounting memos as needed.</li><li>Assist Corporate Controller with research and resolution of questions.</li><li>Complete other ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned.</li></ul>",

          "text": "<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline is required or relevant experience</li><li>CPA certification preferred</li><li>6–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or management experience.</li><li>Commercial Real Estate or other service industry experience is preferred</li><li>In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)</li><li>Advanced knowledge of Excel with the ability to work with a large volume of data in spreadsheets, with knowledge of formulas and advanced functions, like pivot tables is required</li><li>Experience leading a team is strongly preferred</li><li>Experience with ERP systems such as Yardi and Workday is a plus</li><li>Ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality</li><li>Ability to read and analyze financial reports</li><li>High attention to detail with excellent oral and written communication skills</li><li>Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Desire to work in a cooperative, productive, team-driven atmosphere and an ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment</li></ul>",
