    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Supplier will provide technical services to support the expansion of locations requiring fielding and sustainment assistance. Supplier staff will include trainers with expertise in Air Defense Artillery (ADA) and Field Service Engineers (FSEs) qualified as hardware and software technicians. Specialized training will be provided to prepare Supplier staff for the required training and sustainment activities.</p>\n<h2>Background</h2>\n<p>The program supports the sustainment and operational readiness of units equipped with advanced battle command systems worldwide. The effort includes fielding the system to designated locations, providing operator training, and embedding Field Service Engineers (FSEs) at Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) locations to perform maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware (HW) and software (SW). </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Participating in the development of training scenarios, practical exercises, test questions, and after-action reviews.</li>\n <li>Setting up and storing military and contractor equipment used for training events.</li>\n <li>Conducting on-site training, including lectures and practical exercises, for new equipment and other training events.</li>\n <li>Delivering formal presentations to end users.</li>\n <li>Following approved programs of instruction, lesson plans, technical manuals, and student guides during training sessions.</li>\n <li>Writing detailed reports summarizing training events.</li>\n <li>Maintaining metrics such as student enrollment, attendance, pass/fail performance, and suggested course improvements.</li>\n <li>Performing preventive maintenance checks and services on government-furnished equipment.</li>\n <li>Supporting software installation and execution of System Integration and Checkout (SICO) activities.</li>\n <li>Providing support for training material developers and writers.</li>\n <li>Performing other duties as required to support training activities.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Security Clearance</strong>: Must possess a current, active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.</li>\n <li><strong>International Travel Requirements</strong>: Must meet and maintain DoD contractor deployment requirements in accordance with Department of Defense Instruction (DODI) 3020.41, Operational Contract Support.</li>\n <li><strong>Physical Requirements</strong>: Must be able to lift, carry, move, and use toolkits and equipment.</li>\n <li><strong>Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Experience Requirements</strong>:\n  <ul>\n   <li>A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 1 year of experience with a Master’s degree.</li>\n   <li>Experience operating and maintaining Air Defense systems.</li>\n   <li>Knowledge of military operations, procedures, and training activities.</li>\n   <li>Experience with military academic instruction at individual and collective levels.</li>\n   <li>Verifiable military instructor certification from one of the U.S. military branches.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Travel and Work Schedule</strong>:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Must be based out of Huntsville, AL, with potential for travel to program locations up to 75% of the time.</li>\n   <li>Willingness to work beyond a standard 40-hour work week for events requiring an Extended Work Week (EWW).</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 1 year of relevant experience.</li>\n <li>Verifiable military instructor certification from one of the U.S. military branches.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Certification(s)</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>CompTIA Security+ certification (must be obtained within 180 days of assignment).</li>\n <li>Successfully complete the Instructor Qualification Program within 180 days of assignment.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation</h2>\n<p>The compensation range for this position is $75,000 – $84,000 per year. Compensation will be discussed in greater detail with candidates who advance in the interview process, allowing for a comprehensive evaluation of qualifications and alignment with role requirements.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation Disclaimer:</strong>The salary range provided for this position represents a general guideline. Final compensation will be determined at the Company’s discretion based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, geographic location, and contract requirements. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range.</p>\n<h2>Location and Work Hours</h2>\n<p>This position is <strong>100% on-site</strong> and requires <strong>extensive travel (sometimes greater than 75%)</strong> to support operations across multiple locations, including within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS), including areas of responsibility such as AFRICOM, CENTCOM, and EUCOM.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Candidates must be willing and able to travel frequently and on short notice, including international travel, as required by mission needs. This role is not eligible for remote or telework arrangements.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Work Schedule:</strong>Work schedules may vary based on operational requirements, travel, and mission demands.
