    "description": "<h2>What you'll bring to the team</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p>The Rides Maintenance Manager manages safe and efficient availability of rides to deliver exceptional standards of guest service, safety and presentation as well as provides support to the daily operation, dealing with breakdowns and routine maintenance.  </p>\n<h2>Qualifications & Experience</h2>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Supervise 2 Assistant Managers and approximately 25 ride maintenance technicians maintaining the operational integrity for 19 rides and attractions. This position is responsible to ensure the highest level of workplace and guest safety.</li>\n <li>Ensure that all rides and facilities are ready for safe operation prior to opening.</li>\n <li>Oversee all planning and scheduling activities for the successful completion of projects.</li>\n <li>Understand Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) ride requirement, as well as regulatory requirements, are fully compliant for LEGOLAND NY attractions.</li>\n <li>Lead a team of approximately 20 maintenance technicians, mentor and educating all technicians to grow and improve their skills.</li>\n <li>Assist and be hands-on as needed, acting as a guide for repairs and supporting emergency situations.</li>\n <li>Provide a positive work environment through leadership and communication, keeping technicians motivated to perform their best.</li>\n <li>Assign tasks, using the work order system, as needed to facilitate safe and timely operation of all areas.</li>\n <li>areas.</li>\n <li>Review the quality of staff work</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot and maintain all rides and attractions within the scope of normal park operations</li>\n <li>Oversee the safe operation of maintenance technicians, ensuring all Merlin and LEGOLAND NY policies and safety protocols are trained to and followed.</li>\n <li>Conduct periodic team member performance reviews and appraisals</li>\n <li>Complete required departmental forms and reports.</li>\n <li>Process time and attendance reports and submit to the payroll department for processing.</li>\n <li>Support all company and departmental policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Ensure that contractors and employees follow all relevant legislation, codes of practice and company procedures</li>\n <li>Ensure that risk assessments and design reviews are carried out in line with procedures</li>\n <li>Run all Ride maintenance plans</li>\n <li>Manage projects as required to meet business needs</li>\n <li>Prepare, develop, implement and run a new maintenance system</li>\n <li>Collaborate with Operations and Facilities team</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>4-year technical degree in a mechanical/electrical field required with at least 2 years as a supervisor or 5+ years of supervisory experience in lieu of within an amusement park or industrial setting</li>\n <li>NAARSO or AIMS certification (or must obtain within 2 years of employment).Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems (not required to be with electrical certification)</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)</li>\n <li>Practical understanding and safe usage of electrical and mechanical tools.</li>\n <li>Flexible availability around park hours (peak and nonpeak times) and open to working nights/weekends/holidays</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred</li>\n <li>Knowledge and usage of a CMMS system EAM Infor preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Health care options (medical, dental, and vision plans)</li>\n <li>Paid Time Off (PTO)</li>\n <li>Merlin Magic Pass for friends and family to enjoy the parks and attractions</li>\n <li>Recognition programs and rewards</li>\n <li>401(k) program with company match</li>\n <li>Tuition reimbursement programs</li>\n <li>Numerous learning and advancement opportunities</li>\n</ul>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>Compensation between USD $76,949.60/Yr.-USD $100,000.00/Yr.",
