    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>We are recruiting for an exciting leadership opportunity as a Medical Assistant Supervisor for experienced or lead MA's at one of our state of the art facilities.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This exempt position is a crucial part of the service delivery team responsible quality patient care at the health center sites. This position supervises and directs Medical Assistant staff activities to ensure quality of care, patient flow, and compliance with regulations and governing bodies. Additionally, a member of the management team, the Medical Assistant Supervisor evaluates coaches and guides staff performances along with providing indirect and direct patient care within the scope of their respective scope.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Summary of Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Works closely with the Clinic Manager and other members of the clinic management team to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintaining patient flow in clinic to a level that supports agency productivity standards and goals</li>\n <li>Communicates with appropriate personnel as necessary, to examine, revise and evaluate inner-clinic processes to promote efficiency</li>\n <li>Provides supervisory oversight for clinic medical support staff, including performance reviews, coaching and counseling, staff development, shift schedulesIn-services provider and clinic medical support staff as needed regarding procedures, forms, and procedural changes, etc.Schedules and facilitates monthly staff meetings with Health Center ManagerMaintaining accurate records for all meetings (including sign-in sheet) and storing in a place accessible to all staffPlanning and implementing emergency code and fire drills per agency protocolsMaintains and supervises medical support staff</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION AND LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED Certificate </li>\n <li>Completed training program in Medical Assisting from Accredited school.</li>\n <li>CPR Certification</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PRIOR EXPERIENCE:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 3 years of medical assistant experience, preferably in an ambulatory care setting</li>\n <li>Minimum 1 years of management or supervisory experience preferred</li>\n <li>Experience with facility and program licensure and audits a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>SKILLS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bilingual Preferred (English/Spanish) but not required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and push up to 50 pounds (on wheels).</li>\n <li>Must be able to hear staff on the phone and those who are served in-person, and speak clearly in order to communicate information to patients and staff.</li>\n <li>Must be able to read memos, computer screens, and administrative documents.</li>\n <li>Must have high manual dexterity.</li>\n <li>Must be able to reach above the shoulder level to work, must be able to bend, squat and sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, kneel, twist/turn</li>\n <li>Must be able to sit between 5-7 hours daily</li>\n <li>Must possess close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work indoors and out doors</li>\n <li>Must be able to operate a motor vehicle to and from various sites at UHC.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The pay range for this Exempt position starts at $70,347.08 a year.
