Our providers specialize in primary care medicine, preventative care, acute medical care, pediatric and </span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">adolescent care, diabetes and endocrinology care, office gynecology, minor injuries, and in-office surgical procedures.</span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> There is an additional opportunity to learn, practice, and supervise the delivery of Rheumatology care</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Essential Functions:<br>As one of our providers, you will practice in a collaborative environment and will:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Order and interpret tests, counsel patients on preventive care, conduct physical examinations, and write prescriptions for patients.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Contribute to practice effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range patient care issues that need to be addressed, providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations, and recommending options and courses of action.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Supervise midlevel practitioners including physician assistants and nurse practitioners.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Assess patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, and obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Determine abnormal conditions by administering or ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as x-rays and laboratory studies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Perform therapeutic procedures by administering joint injections or aspiration.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Instruct and counsel patients by describing therapeutic regimens.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Provide continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Comply with federal/state/local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Must be professionally licensed to practice family medicine and be in good standing with all applicable federal/state/local licensing bodies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Must be board certified/board eligible in family medicine.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Caring and compassionate when dealing with patients.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Thorough and up-to-date working knowledge of family medicine and family medicine treatment options.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Technical skills to operate medical equipment and tools related to family medicine treatment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Must maintain current knowledge of industry best practices, trends, and applicable laws and regulations regarding scope of practice.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; Additional hours are expected in order to take care of patients, phone calls, charting, and complete daily work.
