    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">MISSION</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">YouthBuild DC Public Charter School (YouthBuild PCS) is an alternative high school for young people seeking to transform their lives by re-engaging in their education in a non-traditional school environment. YouthBuild PCS prepares students for post-secondary education and the workplace by offering, in English and Spanish, academic, vocational and workforce development programs. YouthBuild PCS believes that service to the community is an essential part of the transformative process. Therefore, students serve their community through volunteer projects and by creating housing for low-income residents in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.  </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-size: 15px\">The Data Manager </span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">leads the collection, analysis, and dissemination of school, student, and instructional data. The Data Manager will be responsible for providing real-time insights into student achievement, progress, behavior, and other key indicators of student and school success, to teachers and leaders while also managing reporting to the school’s external stakeholders. The Data Manager will collaborate with school leaders to ensure that YouthBuild’s data management is responsible to all stakeholders’ needs. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Data reporting and analysis</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Continue to develop, improve and strengthen the school’s internal data tracking and data analytics systems, including Quickbase </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Manage data entry and data reporting in all data systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Manage the production of data dashboards⎯including data related to attendance, discipline, assessments, enrollment, placement, and accountability⎯to drive decision-making and instructional practice</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Maintain, generate, and distribute student demographic, attendance, discipline, and student progress information</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Staff presentations, trainings and support</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Design and conduct presentations of data and associated data analysis to school, school system, and community groups</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Enhance knowledge sharing around data management and provide training to school leaders, staff, students, and community</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Provide support and accountability to the achievement of organizational goals; and provide ad-hoc research and data analysis</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">External trainings </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Attend key meetings at PCSB, OSSE, and other organizations as necessary and related to data sharing/reporting and school accountability</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Participate in training to remain current on data sources, data analysis techniques, and strategies for developing and making data-based presentations</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Policy and Compliance</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Ensure compliance and timeliness of submissions with all regulatory agencies and funders, including the DC Public Charter School Board, the Office of the State Superintendent of Education, AEFLA, etc.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Support Head of School in research and analysis of local and federal policies impacting YouthBuild’s student population ( juvenile justice, child welfare, special education, etc.)</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Intern Supervision </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Recruit, train and supervise part-time university intern to support data entry and analysis</span><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\"><br></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Other</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Perform other duties and special projects as assigned</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px;
