Facilitates alignment between improvement initiatives and the organizations strategic plan; directs the day-to-day execution of the strategies and tactic necessary to successfully improve the outcomes and results of the organization.MOBIS Corporate Center America will be aiding in the hiring progress for this job position. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><em>(</em><em>To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)</em> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide training and Guidance to QC and QA functions in their separate spheres of operations. Work with HOD’s / COD’s to establish long term goals for both departments. </li>\n <li>Ensure voice of the customer is heard by both groups and the rest of the organization.</li>\n <li>Interact with Senior Management at the OEM to understand their expectations and translate actionable activities within QC or QA as appropriate.</li>\n <li>Leads and is ultimately responsible for Quality (QA & QC) activities throughout the MOBIS Georgia plant.</li>\n <li>Ensure that projects are implemented in a timely manner and improvements are sustained by the organization.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Quality Assurance & New Model Launch Management (MOBIS Product Development System / APQP)   </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Improvement of CS/RS related claims as well as quality cost</li>\n <li>Manage monthly claim process, recall/campaign and service action</li>\n <li>Manage external issues such as NHTSA , IQS/VDS, IATF, etc.</li>\n <li>Control internal communication with related teams about field issues</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Quality Control</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>KPI Management </li>\n <li>Profitability Improvement / Customer Incoming Quality (ppm) / Man Power (Salary & Hourly) / Policy Demerits (Customer Line Stop & Safety)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Internal/External Quality Index Management</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Internal/Customer Issue per day</li>\n <li>Supplier/Process Quality (ppm)</li>\n <li>Supplier Chargeback</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Supervisory Responsibilities:</u></strong> Yes</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><em>(The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)</em></p>\n<p><em> </em></p>\n<p><strong>Required Education & Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience: 10 years </li>\n <li>Managerial Experience: 8+ years </li>\n <li>Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) required, MBA desired </li>\n <li>Degree Field: Engineering, Quality, or related field. </li>\n <li>Equivalent Experience/Education: 15 years of experience in a manufacturing/automotive field</li>\n <li>Communication Skills: Advanced</li>\n <li>Foreign Language Required: No. If yes, what language?
