Business Development / Sales Specialist
Location: Central Florida
A proven, results-driven sales professional who thrives in the field, loves building relationships, and knows how to turn curb appeal into long-term contracts in our growing business in the commercial landscaping and exterior services space, we want to talk to you.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, values performance, and wants to be rewarded for delivering real results.
As our Business Development & Sales Specialist – Exterior Services, you’ll drive new revenue by identifying, pursuing, and closing commercial landscaping and exterior maintenance opportunities throughout Central Florida.
You’ll:
Prospect and generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry relationships
Build trusted partnerships with property managers, facility leaders, developers, boards, and procurement teams
Conduct site walks and needs assessments to understand client goals, scopes, and service requirements
Present customized landscaping, exterior maintenance, and seasonal service solutions
Lead negotiations and confidently close deals with decision-makers
Prepare proposals, pricing, and responses to RFPs
Maintain a strong, organized sales pipeline using CRM tools
Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and exceptional service delivery
Stay current on market trends, competitors, and green industry best practices
Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and client appreciation events
This is a mostly remote role with regular time spent in the field and occasional reporting to company offices.

Comfortable working independently and owning their territory
Driven by goals, commissions, and measurable results
Qualifications include:
3+ years of business development or sales experience (exterior services / landscaping preferred)
Proven success closing high-value commercial contracts
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
CRM experience preferred
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel (-10%)
