          "text": "<p>CEDA is looking for&#xa0; Journeyman Pipefitters and Apprentice Pipefitters for camp work with our client in Conklin, AB.</p><p>This position is open to direct service providers (DSP)</p><p><strong>What we offer:</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive rate&#xa0;</li><li>Camp Accommodations&#xa0;</li><li>Temporary Full Time until September 30, 2026</li><li><strong>Shift: 21x7 - 12 hr Days</strong></li></ul><ul></ul><p><strong>Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Install new mechanical equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, air dryers, converters, heat exchangers, relief valves, pressure-reducing valves, condensate tanks, recirculation pumps, booster pumps, pneumatic controls, coils, isolation valves, 3-way valves, condensate traps)</li><li>Fit up and prepare piping requiring welded joints</li><li>Liaise and collaborate with other trades, consultants and suppliers</li><li>Cleans condensate traps and equipment strainers</li><li>Provides occasional guidance to the primary function of others, including training.</li><li>Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirements</li><li>Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines</li><li>Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools</li><li>Thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system</li><li>Install supports, valves, piping and control systems</li><li>Test system for leaks using testing equipment</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Role Specifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Journeyman Pipefitter/Steamfitter (Red Seal preferred) required OR registered apprentice</li><li>H2S Alive and CSO or CSTS, First Aid required - Confined Space, Fall Arrest (AWP) considered an asset.</li><li>Receptive to change and can adapt to changing circumstances</li><li>Able to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test, booked by CEDA</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p>",
