Fourth Plain BlvdVancouver, WA 98665.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong> Starting at 50.00/hr plus 5.09 for Health and Wellness</p>\n<p><strong>Hours:</strong> Varied based on location but both days and nights will be available </p>\n<h3>Overview</h3>\n<p>The Diagnostic Radiologic Technician performs radiographic imaging procedures that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. The technician operates radiographic equipment and ensures patient safety and image quality.</p>\n<h2>Primary Responsibilities</h2>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Prepare patients for radiologic examinations.</p></li>\n <li><p>Operate radiographic imaging equipment.</p></li>\n <li><p>Position patients and capture diagnostic X-ray images.</p></li>\n <li><p>Adjust equipment settings and select exposure factors.</p></li>\n <li><p>Review images for clarity and retake images when necessary.</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain imaging documentation and patient records.</p></li>\n <li><p>Perform examinations including chest, joints, extremities, and gastrointestinal imaging.</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain equipment and report malfunctions.</p></li>\n <li><p>Follow infection control and radiation safety standards.</p></li>\n <li><p>Provide portable X-ray services throughout the facility.</p></li>\n <li><p>Participate in emergency and after-hours imaging coverage.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Minimum Qualifications</h2>\n<h3>Qualifications</h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p>ARRT certification as Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist.</p></li>\n <li><p>Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.</p></li>\n <li><p>Minimum <strong>2 years diagnostic imaging experience</strong>.</p></li>\n <li><p>Must have worked as an <strong>X-Ray technologist in a hospital within the last six months</strong>.</p></li>\n <li><p>Professional liability insurance required.</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to work <strong>at least six months after start date</strong>.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Aptive</h2>\n<p>Arrow ARC supports Veterans Health Administration facilities and offices across the U.S. with health care staffing and program support via the 10-year Integrated Critical Staffing Program (ICSP).
