Learn more at www.dminc.com</p>\n<h2>About the Opportunity</h2>\n<p>DMI, LLC is seeking a <strong>Jr. Technical Project Manager</strong> performs day-to-day management of activities pertaining to the functional and technical deliverables of the project to join us. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Experience with IT infrastructure project mgmt. (network security; server systems, networking)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<li>Facilitating State agency and Master Contractor discussions / meetings</li>\n<li>Identifying issues and risks, and recommending possible issue and risk mitigation strategies</li>\n<li>Identifying critical paths, tasks, dates, testing, and acceptance criteria</li>\n<li>Ensuring that performance is within scope, consistent with requirements, and delivered on time and within budget</li>\n<li>Providing solutions to improve efficiency (e.g., reducing costs while maintaining or improving performance levels)</li>\n<li>Monitoring issues and providing resolutions for up-to-date status reports</li>\n<li>Demonstrating excellent writing and oral communications skills</li>\n<li>Familiar with large organizational IT network management and maintenance services in managing projects or providing support, such as but not limited to:</li>\n<li> Primary - network management, maintenance, and operations support;</li>\n<li> systems maintenance and operations support</li>\n<li> Security of customer data and assets, tools , policies </li>\n<li> infrastructure management;</li>\n<li> Network Operations Center (NOC) management;</li>\n<li> technical services;</li>\n<li> network security and certification services;</li>\n<li> disaster recovery services including backup and restoration;</li>\n<li> application server support and application support</li>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education and Years of Experience: </strong></p>\n<p>This position requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or a related discipline. Candidates must possess a Project Management certification from the PMI or similar college level certification.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The proposed candidate must have at least two (2) years of general experience in project management and have a solid understanding of the PMI methodologies of project management.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills & Certifications:</strong></p>\n<p>Project Management Certificate; Desired: PMP and ITILv4</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Additional Requirements:</strong></p>\n<p>The proposed candidate must have at least one (1) year of experience managing IT-related projects, preferably in an infrastructure support environment. The candidate should conceptually understand basic enterprise network infrastructure including network security, server systems and networking.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Background Requirements: </strong>Must be able to successfully complete a required fingerprint background investigation.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Citizenship Status Required: </strong>Must be a <u>U.S. Citizen</u></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong> None required for this position.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Location: </strong>Primarily Remote but Candidate should be in the greater DC / Baltimore area; available for onsite visits 2-3 times per month.</p>\n<h2>Working at DMI</h2>\n<p>DMI is a diverse, prosperous, and rewarding place to work.
