          "text": "<p><strong>POSITION OVERVIEW</strong></p><p>This position ensures that all equipment is functioning at peak performance, preventive maintenance measures are performed, and unscheduled repairs are executed safely and efficiently.&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;</p><p><strong>PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain and perform basic troubleshooting of the electrical and mechanical aspects of all Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) on site, including conveyor systems, sortation, and scale.</li><li>Demonstrate mechanical proficiency for hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and&#xa0;</li><li>&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0; AC/DC electrical motors and drives.</li><li>Adjust, reset, repair, or replace mechanical components (belts, chains, cables) and wear parts (guides, bearings, wheels, rollers, pulleys)</li><li>Maintain and troubleshoot motors, photo eyes, relays, proximity sensors, solenoids, motor starters, etc.</li><li>Clean, lubricate, and adjust equipment when necessary. Use appropriate job instructions, when performing preventative maintenance on facility equipment (i.e. forklifts, conveyor system, HVAC, air compressors, dryers, and balers).</li><li>Routine office and warehouse repairs (to include carpentry, painting, electrical, and&#xa0;plumbing)</li><li>Knowledgeable in the use of multi-meters and infrared thermometers.</li><li>Read and understand basic electrical and electronic schematics.</li><li>Use a computer maintenance management system to create and complete work orders with appropriate data (labor hours, downtime, problem/cause/remedy, and parts used)</li><li>Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all departments. and levels of the organization.</li><li>Follow required safety procedures and use personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Lock Out/Tag Out, Hot Permit etc.)</li><li>Adhere to all OSHA, federal, state, and local code requirements.</li><li>Ensure that all company tools are in working order.</li><li>Maintaining a clean, safe, secure, and orderly work environment.</li><li>Work with outside contractors regarding routine preventative maintenance and emergency service calls, ensure that security procedures and safe work practices are followed.</li><li>Weekend / off-shift work required to support maintenance of equipment off distribution operations hours.</li><li>Work overtime as needed.</li><li>Carry out additional projects/tasks as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>SUPERVISION RECEIVED</strong></p><p>Facilities Supervisor</p>",
