The successful candidate will do the following:</p><ul><li>Investigate residential and commercial sites to determine the cause and origin of geotechnical failures, damages, or defects</li><li>Conduct and manage forensic geotechnical evaluations</li><li>Direct, review, and oversee small to large private and public geotechnical projects</li><li>Mentor and train junior staff</li><li>Provide leadership and maintain strong client relationships</li><li>Assist with marketing and business development efforts</li><li>Provide ongoing technical training to engineering staff</li><li>Review and provide direction on engineering work products</li><li>Prepare, review, and sign geotechnical proposals and reports</li></ul><p><strong>Education</strong></p><ul><li>PE license required</li><li>M.S. in Civil Engineering with a geotechnical emphasis required</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas</li><li>10+ years of geotechnical consulting experience</li><li>Strong and well-rounded geotechnical engineering background</li><li>Experience with construction and earthwork activities (preferred)</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills</li><li>Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and positive attitude</li><li>Proven track record of successful client relationships and service</li></ul><p><strong>Status</strong></p><ul><li>Full-time, in office</li></ul><p><strong>Reference ID:</strong> SRGP-HOU</p></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
