    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span><strong>JOB SUMMARY:</strong></span></p>\n<p><span>ACCO and Sunbelt Control’s Foreperson positions are dispatched through the union locals. We encourage you to apply if you are in the UA or are interested in joining the union for this role!</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>SO WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Under the direction of the Field Superintendent, this position will be primarily responsible for the oversight of the operations strategic planning.</span></li>\n <li><span>Assists with project scheduling and strategies, goals and expectations by reviewing plans and specs.</span></li>\n <li><span>Must identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with construction operations (i.e.: installations, safety, materials, and personnel) ensuring the proper team selection for all construction projects, including assignment of Job Foreperson, Journeyperson and apprentices.</span></li>\n <li><span>Responsible for implementing Safety Department protocols by reviewing and discussing required safety documents with the field personnel to ensure work is being performed in a safe manner.</span></li>\n <li><span>Reviews and completes project documents to determine the proper staffing requirements.</span></li>\n <li><span>Assists with completing internal documents and generating RFI’s for submission.</span></li>\n <li><span>Trains field personnel and communicates project expectations, requirements and due dates with assigned detailers.</span></li>\n <li><span>Mentor, train and develop top performing supervisors (succession planning) to meet current and future business needs.</span></li>\n <li><span>Coordinates and communicates effectively with sub-contractors and different departments within ACCO.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>WHAT DOES THIS ROLE INVOLVE?</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Attends job site meetings to provide input for General Contractors and Project Managers.</span></li>\n <li><span>Sets clear goals &amp; expectations for detailers and/or field personnel.</span></li>\n <li><span>Generates project progress/health reports with the assistance of the field support.</span></li>\n <li><span>Responsible for evaluating field personnel accordingly.</span></li>\n <li><span>Reviews and tracks project labor budgets.</span></li>\n <li><span>Orders tools and equipment required to complete the project.</span></li>\n <li><span>Ensure a quality product has been installed.</span></li>\n <li><span>Accountable for returning tools and equipment.</span></li>\n <li><span>&nbsp;Accountable for returning excess materials to vendor for credit.</span></li>\n <li><span>Adheres to and promotes company policies and procedures.</span></li>\n <li><span>Instill a culture of accountability, integrity, ethics, and respect within the department.</span></li>\n <li><span>Other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor and/or upper management.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE?&nbsp;</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Basic understanding of Microsoft Office including MS Word and MS Excel Word.</span></li>\n <li><span>Able to utilize Google applications including Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Docs.</span></li>\n <li><span>Computer &amp; Smart-phone skills accommodating electronic field-to-office software and communications.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></span></p>\n<p><span>(The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
