    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Investment Banking Associate – Healthcare Services and Technology</strong></p>\n<p><strong>GROUP DESCRIPTION:</strong><br>\n Jefferies Global Healthcare Group provides comprehensive advisory and capital markets services across healthcare services, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical technology, tools and diagnostics, and healthcare technology. With over 140 bankers globally, the team supports clients across North and South America, Europe, and Asia.</p>\n<p><strong>POSITION:</strong><br>\n We are seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join our Healthcare Services and Technology team. The ideal candidate will be a first- or second-year Associate supporting senior bankers in executing transactions and developing client relationships across the healthcare services and technology sectors.</p>\n<p><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Support execution of&nbsp;sell-side and buy-side M&amp;A, equity and debt financings, restructuring and recapitalization, and strategic advisory transactions&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Conduct financial valuation, discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, pro forma merger, precedent transaction, and comparable companies’ analyses</li>\n <li>Prepare pitch books and live deal materials, including offering memoranda, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, lender presentations, and prospectuses</li>\n <li>Analyze detailed corporate and financial information, as well as conduct due diligence</li>\n <li>Build financial operating models and valuation models</li>\n <li>Conduct industry and product research</li>\n <li>Collaborate with senior bankers and cross-functional teams across the firm</li>\n <li>Attend and participate in client meetings and contribute to building and maintaining client relationships.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Work on several projects simultaneously, collaborating with teams of professionals, both within the group and across the firm, including with product partners such as bankers in our Equity Capital Markets, Mergers and Acquisitions, Leveraged Finance, Private Capital Advisory, and Restructuring teams, collaborating to develop and execute solutions to meet client needs.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution</li>\n <li>3+ years of healthcare investment banking experience, ideally in Healthcare Services, Healthcare Technology, Medical Technology, or a M&amp;A group</li>\n <li>Detail-oriented with exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities</li>\n <li>Ability to manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously</li>\n <li>Resourceful self-starter; able to work autonomously and a team player</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal skills</li>\n <li>Strong technical, written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Currently based in New York, or willing to relocate</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Salary Range</strong> of $150,000-$225,000</p>\n<p>#LI-DNI</p>",
