Learn more about it today.</p>\n<h2>Job Details</h2>\n<p><strong>In this role, you will...</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking a dependable, hard-working Facilities Maintenance Technician / Day Porter to help maintain our building and support daily facility operations. This hands-on role includes general building maintenance, cleaning, stocking supplies, running errands, setting up workspaces, and handling day-to-day requests from management and staff.</p>\n<p>The ideal candidate takes pride in keeping a facility clean, safe, organized, and running smoothly. This position requires someone who is flexible, self-motivated, and willing to jump in wherever needed.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities and Duties:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform routine maintenance and basic repair tasks.</li>\n <li>Help with wall patching and painting, minor door or lock repairs, and basic custodial duties such as vacuuming or emergency cleanups.</li>\n <li>Install, maintain, and repair plumbing fixtures such as toilets, sinks, and related components.</li>\n <li>Observe and report any equipment issues or facility hazards to senior technicians or supervisors.</li>\n <li>Conduct routine inspections of the facility and report issues.</li>\n <li>Support outside contractors and vendors when onsite.</li>\n <li>Fill and maintain coffee machines and beverage inventory.</li>\n <li>Restock office supplies, and office materials.</li>\n <li>Empty trash and assist with light cleaning duties as needed.</li>\n <li>Handle deliveries, supply pickups, and company errands as needed.</li>\n <li>Support loading and unloading of deliveries using hand trucks or other moving equipment.</li>\n <li>Provide general support to the mail room and assist with lobby security duties as assigned.</li>\n <li>Respond to work orders in a timely and courteous manner, escalating complex issues to senior staff.</li>\n <li>Assist with moving furniture or setting up workspaces for meetings or events, following instructions.</li>\n <li>Learn and follow all safety procedures, building policies, and maintenance protocols.</li>\n <li>Take proactive steps to maintain and service company equipment and tools, conducting routine inspections and performing preventive upkeep.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate work and mileage logs for assignments completed.</li>\n <li>Perform inspections of common areas as directed, noting any obvious safety or maintenance issues.</li>\n <li>May perform additional general duties as assigned to support the facilities team and contribute to overall building operations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the facilities maintenance industry.</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently with little or no supervision using strong follow-up skills.</li>\n <li>Accuracy and attention to detail is a must and to be able to meet strict deadlines.</li>\n <li>Must be able to receive assignments by phone and/or wireless data service (email).</li>\n <li>Must be able to move and/or lift up to fifty (50) lbs.</li>\n <li>Strong reading, writing, communication, and mathematical skills needed.</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as construction drawings and technical manuals.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Additional trade or construction education.</li>\n <li>Previous facilities, maintenance, porter, custodial, warehouse, or handyman experience.</li>\n <li>Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and general maintenance practices.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Hours of Work:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Monday through Friday. 8:30am - 5:00pm</p>\n<p>Work hours will depend on the business hours of the time zone serviced.</p>\n<p>To the extent permitted by law, the Company may, in its sole discretion, change the work schedule to address business needs.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to move about. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.
