    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>A Valve Technician Helper is responsible for assisting with various valve maintenance and repairs on offshore and land facilities.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Candidates MUST be willing and able to work a 24/7 callout schedule.</li>\n <li>Positions will consist of offshore and land locations.</li>\n <li>Candidates MUST be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Records Check.</li>\n <li>Assist Valve Technician as needed.</li>\n <li>Identify and use basic hand tools.</li>\n <li>Perform general housekeeping.</li>\n <li>Duties and responsibilities may be added or changed at any time at the discretion of your supervisor, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.</li>\n <li>Provide account manager support by phone and email.</li>\n <li>Complete preventative maintenance on department equipment.</li>\n <li>Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as required.</li>\n <li>Responsible for participating in all safety training and assisting in safety procedures such as first aid, CPR, fire drills, and emergency evacuation.</li>\n <li>May be required to travel to the worksite via marine or helicopter transport.</li>\n <li>May be required to reside at the worksite on a predetermined work schedule.</li>\n <li>Take proper care of test instruments and tools in their care.</li>\n <li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently without direct supervision.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Mechanically inclined.</li>\n <li>Valid TWIC card.</li>\n <li>Valid driver's license and clean driving record.</li>\n <li>Live within 45 minutes from the shop.</li>\n <li>High School Graduate or have a GED.</li>\n <li>Ability to work overtime and holidays as needed and must be available for call outs as required.</li>\n <li>Previous experience with valves is a plus.</li>\n</ul>",
