Join OPI Houston (FKA Fulshear) as an <strong>On Call Direct Support Mentor</strong> and enjoy the flexibility of an on call schedule while making a meaningful impact.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As an <strong>On Call Direct Support Mentor</strong>, you’ll work with clients ages 18 - 28. You'll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team dedicated to mental health and well being. This role is ideal for those who value flexibility while maintaining a strong commitment to professional and personal boundaries.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This <strong>active</strong>, <strong>hands-on role</strong> involves participating in experiential therapies like art, music, yoga, fitness, and urban outings such as museum visits and community service. Candidates should be <strong>comfortable staying on their feet</strong>, engaging with young adults, and <strong>navigating a fast-paced, city-based environment</strong>. Together with the team, you’ll help create a structured, supportive space for healing and life skill development.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Client Support & Engagement:</strong> Build positive, professional relationships while supporting clients with daily activities.</li>\n <li><strong>Treatment Implementation:</strong> Consistently apply treatment team strategies to promote client progress.</li>\n <li><strong>Crisis Intervention:</strong> Use de-escalation and crisis management skills to maintain a safe, calm environment.</li>\n <li><strong>Attachment-Based Care:</strong> Provide empathetic, attuned support and constructive feedback to encourage growth.</li>\n <li><strong>Transportation & Community Access:</strong> Safely transport clients to appointments and community activities following safety protocols.</li>\n <li><strong>Environment & Maintenance:</strong> Help maintain a clean, welcoming campus and support clients with chores.</li>\n <li><strong>Documentation & Compliance:</strong> Accurately document client interactions and uphold organizational policies and standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Age:</strong> 21 years of age or older</li>\n <li><strong>Education</strong>: High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D required.
