    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Brief Summary:</strong></p><p>The Cut Off Operator assists Weld Mill Operator with changeovers, set up and splicing on the tube mill.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>&bull;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Changeover and set up mills.</p><p>&bull;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Operate lower end of the mill (Saw), continuously monitor pipe size, ovality, length, straightness, inside flash and quality of product being produced.</p><p>&bull;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Set up stencil equipment.</p><p>&bull;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Perform maintenance on mills as required.</p><p>&bull;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Communicate and work with Mill Operator on a team basis.</p><p>&bull;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Basic housekeeping in general work area.</p><p>&bull;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Responsible for completing any assignments given by Supervisor, even those assignments not specifically listed in this job description.</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma, <strong>OR</strong> Equivalency Certificate, (GED, etc.)</li><li>One to three months equivalent experience in related field <strong>OR</strong>, Proof of training in an area related to the job assignment</li><li>Reasonable knowledge in hand-held measuring devices, micrometers, measuring tapes, go/no-go gauges, grinding, operation of thickness gauges and depth gauges</li><li>Moderate to Advanced PC Skills in Microsoft Applications, i.e., MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint</li><li>Able to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to follow job and safety requirements.</li><li>High frequency welding experience desired.</li></ul><p><strong><em>&nbsp;</em></strong></p><p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p><ul><li>This position requires frequent communication, both written and oral.&nbsp;</li><li>The work environment for this position is primarily in a manufacturing plant with loud noise from heavy machinery, grease, and dirt. &nbsp;</li><li>There may be exposed to adverse weather conditions, extreme cold and heat, handling hazardous chemicals, bad odors, dirt, and dust.&nbsp;</li><li>Workers will be required to sit or stand for long periods of time, walk long distances and work in confined spaces.</li><li>Work might involve pushing, pulling, and lifting heavy materials.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>Position requires the use of personal protective equipment.</p><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; use hands to fingers, hands to feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear.&nbsp;</li><li>The employee frequently is required to climb, balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and smell.
