    "description": "<h2>Description</h2>\n<p><strong>Tradesmen International</strong> is immediately hiring motivated <strong>Pipefitter Helpers / Laborers</strong> for projects located in or around <strong>Houston, TX</strong>.  This is a first shift opportunity, and the<strong> pay rate is $20-$26/hour</strong> based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Helper or Laborer and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Job Scope:</u></strong>        </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Pipefitter Helpers:</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Installing,  aligning and laying underground storm pipe drainage systems and water lines</li>\n   <li>Assisting with trench preparation, grading and pipe placement </li>\n   <li>Replace damaged or existing wet utility piping and assist with tie-ins to existing systems</li>\n   <li>Read grade stakes, follow site plans and work safely around excavation equipment</li>\n   <li>Use hand tools, pipe lasers and other equipment to support underground utility installation</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>General Laborer:</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Assisting crews with installing underground pipe for storm drains and water utility systems</li>\n   <li>Loading/unloading, moving and staging piping materials, fittings and tools around the job-site</li>\n   <li>Help clean trenches, prepare work areas and support pipe placement activities</li>\n   <li>Perform general labor duties including site cleanup, digging and assisting operators as needed</li>\n   <li>Maintain safe work practices and follow directions from supervisors and foremen on-site</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must pass a drug scree</li>\n <li>Must pass a background check</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Company Details</h2>\n<p>Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry. </p>\n<p>Our comprehensive benefits include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Tradesmen+ Rewards Program – earn points for hours worked</li>\n <li>Vacation Pay</li>\n <li>Health insurance</li>\n <li>401(k) retirement savings plan</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Tradesmen International is an EO employer - M/F/Veteran/Disability</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>“<strong>Be Safe” from fraud!</strong>  Tradesmen International will never ask you to pay for certifications, equipment, or other “up front”  costs as a condition of hire.
