At PAR, we take on the most challenging and complex projects we can find, and we hire people who thrive on hard work and demanding opportunities.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<p>The Safety Admin will support the Safety team on project tasks as assigned and assist in day-to-day clerical duties while working within multiple databases. This position's main responsibilities will be onboarding, handling, and processing PPE. Duties will require communication between various departments and working effectively in a cross-functional setting. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist with review, tracking, and scheduling of employee training</li>\n <li>Responsible for maintaining the inventory of PPE, including ensuring rubber gloves and sleeves are tested and dated every six months or per the local union contract. </li>\n <li>Required to work directly with management and job leads to assemble job-specific information based on entries and information gathered through various sources.</li>\n <li>Assist in the day-to-day clerical duties, including filing paperwork, scheduling meetings, fielding phone calls, writing reports, developing procedures, etc.</li>\n <li>Work on various other assignments including clothing programs, etc.</li>\n <li>Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including employment verification, drug screening, account setup, equipment issuance, and orientation to safety programs and company systems.</li>\n <li>Administer PPE and FR clothing programs, including inventory management, distribution, tracking, and coordination of required testing, inspections, and replacement cycles.</li>\n <li>Support DOT and driver compliance activities, including maintenance of driver qualification records, CDL documentation, and medical certification tracking.</li>\n <li>Maintain inventory records and safety-related databases while providing administrative support for safety systems, fleet technologies, and employee compliance programs.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Bring</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's Degree or a combination of experience and additional training which supports the position</li>\n <li>Experience working with safety systems and databases</li>\n <li>Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite required</li>\n <li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Team facilitation skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional settings.</li>\n <li>Strong team player with the ability to organize, prioritize, handle time constraints and manage shifting priorities.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently</li>\n <li>Valid, Active Driver's License</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledgeable on safety terminology, rate indicators and how to calculate them.
