The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities, collaborating with school staff and families to ensure academic success and personal growth.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, based on thorough assessments and collaboration with parents, school staff, and related service providers.</li>\n <li>Provide specialized instruction in core academic subjects and functional skills, adapting curriculum materials and teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.</li>\n <li>Use evidence-based teaching practices and assistive technologies to facilitate student learning and achievement.</li>\n <li>Monitor and assess students' progress towards IEP goals, adjusting instructional strategies and interventions as needed.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to promote inclusive practices and provide accommodations and modifications for students in the general education setting.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress, IEP meetings, and communication with parents and other stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP meetings and student support team meetings, to develop and review student progress and interventions.</li>\n <li>Provide support and guidance to paraprofessionals and other support staff working with students with disabilities.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.</li>\n <li>Valid state teaching license or certification in Special Education.</li>\n <li>Previous experience teaching students with disabilities in a school setting.</li>\n <li>Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Special Education Teacher in state in which they live (and in which they are teaching if remote)</li>\n <li>Passionate about working with students in a virtual or on-site setting to help them achieve their best</li>\n <li>Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and behavior management techniques.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, school staff, and related service providers.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Benefits:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive salary</li>\n <li>Comprehensive health and wellness benefits package</li>\n <li>Flexible work arrangements</li>\n <li>Opportunities for professional development and growth</li>\n <li>Collaborative and supportive work environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Equal Opportunity Employer:</p>\n<p>E-Therapy is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
