    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p>The CNC Programmer will be responsible for developing programs to be used in multiple types of milling and turning machines to maximize production efficiencies and minimize cost and waste.&nbsp;</p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Role and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare 3d Models using SolidWorks for program creation and inspections using customer supplied drawings or CAD models.</li><li>Create 3D stock Models in SolidWorks by measuring customer supplied incoming materials.</li><li>Work with plant managers to develop a tooling plan for upcoming jobs, and procure tooling as needed by obtaining quotes and writing required purchase orders.</li><li>Program and simulate toolpaths for parts using Esprit CAM software being sure to fully communicate all required checkpoints to the operator using the programming interface.</li><li>Generate CNC code from CAM software, then review and troubleshoot the G code to ensure accuracy and that all necessary notes and comments are added.</li><li>Capable of working with operators on the shop floor to complete the first run of programs and accommodate change requests as needed for the G code programs.</li><li>Knowledge of lathe and mill operations, with a drive to continually learn new machine capabilities</li><li>Prepare manufacturing process plans, as needed&nbsp;</li><li>Design, create, and modify jigs, fixtures, and tooling as needed.&nbsp;</li><li>Propensity to research new and innovative tooling that could optimize jobs on the shop floor.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist shop floors in multiple plants in machine set-up and process troubleshooting. &nbsp;</li><li>Research and act as a technical support for the purchase of additional equipment and/or software.&nbsp;</li><li>Participate in pre-production planning and project management, as needed.&nbsp;</li><li>Understand machine set-up/processes including tooling and machine speeds and feeds.&nbsp;</li><li>Proactively participate in process improvement to maximize production.</li><li>Able to read and understand CNC G-code language, blueprints, and GD&amp;T.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\"><em>Duties may be changed, or additional duties assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.&nbsp;</em></span></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Qualifications and Education Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Associate&rsquo;s degree in CNC programing with three to five years&rsquo; experience of programming in a manufacturing setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.&nbsp;</li><li>Proficient in CAM software and 3D modeling (SolidWorks and Esprit software experience a plus). &nbsp;</li><li>Experience operating a CNC machine is a plus. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel.</li><li>Working Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and PDF creation</li><li>Able to think critically, conceptually, and analytical to proactively solve problems</li><li>Excellent communication skills; Must be able to read, write, and comprehend instructions.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to convey detailed/complex information in written or verbal format.</li><li>Excellent mathematical skills, with an emphasis in geometry and trigonometry. &nbsp;</li><li>Mechanical and technical knowledge of machining equipment.</li><li>Strong organizational skills, with the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting deadlines with accurate and detailed results.&nbsp;</li><li>Able to work as part of a team.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Physical Demands and Working Environment</strong></p><p>The physical demands and working environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
