The role ensures that <strong>milieu staff</strong>, <strong>patient schedules</strong>, and <strong>therapeutic activities</strong> operate smoothly, safely, and in alignment with clinical goals.<strong>Purpose Statement:</strong> Responsible for the coordination and supervision of patient milieu staff for all elements of direct patient care during the work shift.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.</li>\n <li>Experience working in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or a similar clinical setting.</li>\n <li>Strong communication, leadership, and crisis‑management skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to model professionalism, boundaries, and therapeutic engagement.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s degree in a behavioral‑health discipline.</li>\n <li>Prior supervisory experience in a treatment setting.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with PHP/IOP levels of care and milieu‑based treatment models.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>At Wilmington Treatment Center, we believe recovery is possible for everyone. We’re here to help you reclaim your life and build a future filled with hope.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>​</strong><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>​Monitor shift change activities to assign staff, review staffing for the units and adjusts as necessary. </li>\n <li>​Facilitate and monitor patient care and programming. </li>\n <li>​Review medical records for timely documentation as required. </li>\n <li>​Facilitate the individual admission and discharge processes, as well as patient transfers. </li>\n <li>​Review and monitor required paperwork for completion and timeliness requirements. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>​Facilitate person-centered planning process with individuals to assess and develop plans based on their needs. </li>\n <li>​Train and mentor direct care staff during the shift as necessary, or as assigned by the Milieu Manager. </li>\n <li>​Audit individual records to ensure regulatory requirements are met.  Report issues to supervisor as necessary regarding compliance. </li>\n <li>​Respond to individual, family and guardians regarding concerns. </li>\n <li>​Report pertinent information to the Milieu Manager in a timely manner. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>​Perform direct care duties as required. </li>\n <li>​Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always.  When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints.  Recognize that patient safety is a top priority. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>​</strong><strong>OTHER FUNCTIONS: </strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>​Perform other functions and tasks as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>​</strong><strong>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>​High school diploma or equivalent with four or more years’ experience in a behavioral health environment required; OR </li>\n <li>​Associates Degree in a human service field with two or more years’ experience in a behavioral health environment required. </li>\n <li>​Two or more years’ experience with the population of the facility preferred. ​ </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>​</strong><strong>LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: </strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>​CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility). </li>\n <li>​First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are committed to providing equal  employment opportunities to all applicants for employment regardless of an individual’s characteristics protected by applicable state, federal and local laws.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>AHMKT</p>\n<p>#LI-WTC</p>",
