We seek employees who bring different and innovative ways of seeing the world and solving problems.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Inventory Control Tech I will manage specific medical supply inventory levels throughout the Fred Hutch clinic, and its community sites.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Please note that this is a full-time (1.0 FTE) position, working Monday-Friday, 4:00am to 12:30pm supporting the Issaquah and Overlake Fred Hutch clinics with same-day travel between sites.</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Uses an automated inventory control and par leveling system for the ordering, stocking/restocking of medical supplies under the scope of the supply chain management.  </li>\n <li>Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory supporting accurate inventory levels, generating requisitions as needed. </li>\n <li>Distributes medical supplies to patient care areas, while monitoring par levels for specific products to assure that appropriate levels are established in order not to affect patient care. </li>\n <li>Identifies opportunities through the manipulation of par levels, address slow moving inventory by removing product or increasing par levels to meet departmental demand </li>\n <li>Responsible for maintaining clean and orderly stock locations and labeling of products. </li>\n <li>Acts as liaison between clinical staff and supply chain management as needed. </li>\n <li>Works with and follows instructions of the GMP Specialist in the event of recalls to pull relevant products.  </li>\n <li>Perform monthly Expired Lot audit.</li>\n <li>Communicate inventory shortages to Stores Lead or Purchasing. </li>\n <li>Trains new workers in area operations. </li>\n <li>Provide vacation and sick call coverage for Inventory Techs. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Degree, GED, or equivalent combination of education.</li>\n <li>One year supply chain related experience or other relevant experience.</li>\n <li>Must be able to attain Pharmacy Assistant License within 45 days of hire.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of computerized or automated systems operations .</li>\n <li>Knowledge of record keeping practices.</li>\n <li>Ability to effectively communicate.</li>\n <li>Basic math skills and knowledge of units of measure.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of safety practice.</li>\n <li>Ability to lift heavy packages and objects > 50 lbs. using proper technique. </li>\n <li>Must be able to push/pull cart with 400 lbs. load.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The hourly pay range for this position is from $21.30 to $30.13 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
