We’re looking for a highly technical marketing writer contractor to create middle-of-funnel blog content that translates complex database and AI infrastructure concepts into compelling, differentiated stories that drive pipeline. This role will focus on technical blogs that clearly articulate our positioning, highlight our differentiators, and support revenue-generating campaigns. You’ll collaborate closely with our content marketing manager, SEO manager, and product marketing team to build and execute a full-funnel blog pipeline that attracts, educates, and converts high-intent audiences. You’re not just delivering content, you’re helping shape how Aerospike shows up in the market and contributes to company growth. What you’ll do Develop middle-of-funnel technical blog content that aligns with our positioning, product strategy, and differentiators Partner closely with product marketing to deeply understand product capabilities, roadmap priorities, competitive landscape, and core messaging Translate complex topics such as real-time data platforms, distributed systems, AI infrastructure, and high-performance databases into clear, compelling narratives Partner cross-functionally with content marketing, SEO, product marketing, engineering, and solutions teams to align blog topics to campaigns and personas, build a full-funnel roadmap grounded in keyword strategy and search intent, and extract accurate technical insights Create blog content that supports use cases such as AI inference, feature stores, real-time personalization, fraud detection, and globally distributed systems Optimize content for search performance while maintaining strong technical credibility Continuously refine content based on performance metrics, engagement, and conversion data Act as a collaborative, proactive team player who seeks feedback, contributes ideas, and is motivated to help Aerospike grow through high-impact content What we’re looking for Proven experience writing technical content for B2B infrastructure, databases, AI/ML platforms, or developer tools Strong ability to absorb product positioning and translate differentiated value into technically accurate, persuasive content Solid understanding of distributed systems, low-latency architectures, high-throughput systems, and cloud environments Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product marketing, content, SEO, and engineering teams while independently managing deadlines and delivering consistent, high-quality output Success in this role looks like A clear, structured middle-of-funnel blog pipeline aligned to product positioning and campaign priorities Content that clearly communicates competitive differentiation and technical depth Qualified traffic growth that contributes to marketing-sourced pipeline Strong collaboration across product marketing, content, and SEO stakeholders Engagement details Contractor role Remote Ongoing monthly content commitment based on agreed-upon deliverables Aerospike is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
