We're seeking an experienced Group Fleet Controller to take ownership of this critical function and ensure our fleet continues to operate safely, efficiently and cost-effectively.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">About the Role</span></span></p>\n<p>Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Group Fleet Controller is responsible for the day-to-day management of Buildsafe's national fleet portfolio. This role is positioned on the Gold Coast working from our Head Office in Arundel. You'll oversee a diverse fleet operating across multiple states, working closely with Branch Managers, Regional Operations Managers and external service providers to maximise fleet performance, compliance, utilisation and cost efficiency. This is a hands-on role that combines fleet management, supplier relationships, asset utilisation, compliance, procurement and continuous improvement. You'll play a key role in ensuring our operational teams have the vehicles and resources they need to deliver exceptional service to our customers every day.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate fleet servicing, maintenance and repairs</li>\n<li>Manage registrations, insurance, toll accounts and compliance requirements</li>\n<li>Oversee accident management and insurance claims</li>\n<li>Monitor fuel usage, maintenance costs and fleet performance</li>\n<li>Build strong relationships with suppliers and service providers</li>\n<li>Drive fleet utilisation, cost control and operational efficiencies</li>\n<li>Lead strategic capital expenditure (capex) planning for fleet acquisition and replacement</li>\n<li>Conduct whole-of-life cost (WOLC) reviews and analysis</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate fleet records and reporting</li>\n<li>Provide fleet-related advice and support to operational leaders</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">About You</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience in Fleet Management or a similar role</li>\n<li>High level of mechanical aptitude</li>\n<li>Strong commercial and problem-solving skills</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Highly organised with strong attention to detail</li>\n<li>Comfortable working across multiple locations and priorities</li>\n<li>Experience managing suppliers, contracts and fleet-related compliance</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Why Join Buildsafe?</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Permanent full-time</li>\n<li>Competitive salary package</li>\n<li>Arundel office location</li>\n<li>Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm</li>\n<li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</li>\n<li>Discounted gym memberships through Fitness Passport</li>\n<li>Regular social events and team activities</li>\n<li>Join a supportive team with a strong culture</li>\n<li>Opportunity to make a genuine impact in a national role</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>If you're looking for a role where you can take ownership of a large fleet operation and make a real impact on business performance, we'd love to hear from you.</p>",
