In this role, you’ll apply your metallurgy expertise to cutting-edge projects, making a real impact where it matters most. &nbsp;<span lang=\"EN-US\">As a <strong>Senior Metallurgical Engineer</strong>, you will work within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to planning and executing studies and detailed engineering for new processing plants as well as upgrades to existing facilities.&nbsp;</span></div><div class=\"paragraph-in-scc-markdown-text ___1ngh792 ftgm304 f1iaxwol\">&nbsp;</div><div class=\"paragraph-in-scc-markdown-text ___1ngh792 ftgm304 f1iaxwol\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">As a <strong>Senior Metallurgical Engineer </strong>in our ERI Metals and Mining group, you will work within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to planning and executing studies and detailed engineering for new processing plants as well as upgrades to existing facilities.&nbsp;Ideally this position will be located out of one of our <strong>Vancouver office.</strong></span></div><hr><h3><strong>Your Impact</strong></h3><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Identify client needs and contribute to proposals.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to define project needs and present technical information, concepts, and study outcomes.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Establish design criteria, develop mass balances, define process flow diagrams, size and select process equipment, and prepare piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&amp;IDs).</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Develop laboratory test programs, oversee their execution, and analyze resulting data.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Prepare capital and operating cost estimates.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Review and produce tender packages, technical specifications, and related engineering documents.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Act as a Qualified Person (QP) for technical reports.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Provide supervision and guidance to technicians, drafters, and junior metallurgists.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Assist project managers and team leads as required.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Carry out other related tasks that support market growth and successful project delivery.</span></li></ul><hr><h3><strong>The Skills That Set You Apart</strong></h3><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">15+ years of relevant experience in metallurgical processes.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Current P.ENG license.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Experience in consulting engineering companies (an asset).</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Strong initiative, attention to detail, and a rigorous work approach.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Ability to work collaboratively and share expertise across teams.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Excellent oral and written communication skills.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Bilingualism (English/French, an asset).</span></li></ul><hr><h3><strong>Why Choose WSP?</strong></h3><div class=\"paragraph-in-scc-markdown-text ___1ngh792 ftgm304 f1iaxwol\">We exist to shape communities to advance humanity.
