Take the leap and join us on your journey towards success.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>How you will make an impact as a Patient Services Representative/Medical Assistant:</strong></p><ul><li>Greet patients and accurately check them into the EHR, following established patient registration protocols.</li><li>Own opening and closing of the clinic per established guidelines</li><li>Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and patient payments are collected per insurance requirements.</li><li>Schedule patient appointments and coordinate administrative tasks to optimize clinic operations.</li><li>Review future clinic schedules to verify insurance and necessary patient documentation in accessible in the patient's chart.</li><li>Answer phone calls that come directly to the clinic</li><li>Room and take vital signs of patients.</li><li>Ensure clinic appointments run efficiently by communicating necessary information to Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).</li><li>Sanitize exam rooms and medical equipment, including instruments, scopes, and specialty procedure equipment, after each patient</li><li>Record necessary information into the patient’s Electronic Health Record (EHR).</li><li>Triage of patient care, including but not limited to, connecting with patients regarding care questions, lab results and medication refills.</li><li>Rotate and stock the pharmaceutical closet; properly dispose of expired medications.</li><li>Maintain inventory of medical supplies and non-sample pharmaceuticals; order supplies as needed.</li></ul><p><strong>What we're looking for in a Patient Services Representative/Medical Assistant:</strong></p><ul><li>1-2 years of prior experience in a health care setting preferred.</li><li>Strong customer service focus with a commitment to delivering an exceptional patient experience.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, including phone, verbal, written, and listening abilities to build rapport with patients.</li><li>Detail-oriented with high accuracy in work and strong organizational skills.</li><li>Proficiency in data entry and technology applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and EHR systems.</li><li>Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.</li><li>Basic math skills, including calculating percentages and handling insurance payment settings.</li><li>Flexibility to assist at nearby clinic locations as needed</li></ul><p><strong>Why you should choose ADVENT:</strong></p><ul><li>16+ days of PTO (prorated your first year based on start date) &amp; holiday pay</li><li>401k Contribution &amp; Life Insurance</li><li>Convenient Monday – Friday schedule, hours between 8am-4:30pm – enjoy weekends and evenings for yourself!</li><li>Culture that embraces excellence and ethics, we are solutions minded, and encourage you to ask questions</li></ul><p><a href=\"https://adventknows.com/careers\" target=\"_blank\">ADVENT Careers Website</a></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>",
