    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>You belong at Day &amp; Ross.</strong></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Parts Specialist</p>\n<p>Full-Time&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Winnipeg, MB (On-site)</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>The Parts Specialist is responsible for controlling the inventory levels of parts within the Maintenance Department. This role is about providing excellent internal customer service through the collaboration with other members of the Maintenance Department to resolve inquiries and accurately process parts orders.&nbsp;This includes proactively monitoring inventory levels, ensuring parts inventory is adequately managed to efficiently meet the requirements of the Trailer Technicians.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>How You'll Help:</p>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal; font-weight:400; margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n <div style=\"margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n  <ul>\n   <li>Proactively control parts inventory levels by ensuring knowledge of parts and understanding of departmental requirements remain current.</li>\n  </ul>\n </div>\n <div style=\"margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n  <ul>\n   <li>Work with technicians / corporate facility and use established procedures to ensure accurate and efficient ordering of parts and reduce delivery delays.&nbsp;</li>\n  </ul>\n </div>\n <div style=\"margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n  <ul>\n   <li>Respond in a timely fashion to technicians’ requests and inquiries regarding parts and account information.</li>\n  </ul>\n </div>\n <div style=\"margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n  <ul>\n   <li>Handle shipping &amp; receiving of service products and shipments.</li>\n  </ul>\n </div>\n <div style=\"margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n  <ul>\n   <li>Process and deliver internal part requests.</li>\n  </ul>\n </div>\n <div style=\"margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n  <ul>\n   <li>Perform cycle counts and stockroom inventory audits.&nbsp; Ensure counts and movement of parts are accurate.</li>\n   <li>Stock and restock parts in stockroom and prepare inventory and reconciliation reports.</li>\n  </ul>\n </div>\n <div style=\"margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n  <ul>\n   <li>Provide positive, effective and professional customer service and support through conversation in person and over the telephone.</li>\n  </ul>\n </div>\n <div style=\"margin:0px; Experience:</p>\n  <div style=\"font-style:normal; font-weight:400; margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n   <div style=\"margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n    <ul>\n     <li>Minimum of secondary education&nbsp;</li>\n    </ul>\n   </div>\n   <div style=\"margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n    <ul>\n     <li>Training or instruction in mechanical maintenance or repair is preferred.</li>\n    </ul>\n   </div>\n   <div style=\"margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n    <ul>\n     <li>A suitable combination of education and experience may also be considered.</li>\n    </ul>\n   </div>\n   <div style=\"margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n    <ul>\n     <li>Minimum of one year of experience in mechanical shop, maintenance or operational environment, preferably in the transportation industry.</li>\n    </ul>\n   </div>\n   <div style=\"margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n    <ul>\n     <li>Occupational Health &amp; Safety Training a strong asset.</li>\n    </ul>\n   </div>\n   <div style=\"margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n    <ul>\n     <li>Communication skills – must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.</li>\n    </ul>\n   </div>\n   <div style=\"margin:0px;
