This is a part-time position during the sports season requiring weekend, evening and summer work.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Serve as Assistant Coach for Basketball</li><li>Recruiting</li><li>Assists the head coach in scheduling and providing transportation</li><li>Assists in preparing events and practices</li><li>Attends all practices and games</li><li>Carries out scouting assignments as outlined by the Head Coach</li><li>Provide student-athletes the necessary time and resources to succeed academically</li><li>Promotes the sport on and off campus</li><li>Maintains good relationship with alumnus, parents, officials, volunteers and fans</li><li>Performs other duties as requested by the Head Coach</li></ul><p><strong>Other Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Update Coaches Recruiting Report</li><li>Help process credit card statements and check requisitions in a timely manner</li><li>Maintain practice and game facility as applicable</li><li>Develop gameday itineraries, secure lodging, and plan meals for all team travel dates</li><li>Provide travel information for faculty</li></ul><p><strong>Supervision:</strong></p><p>Will supervise student athletes and may supervise student workers</p>",
