Our Company vigorously pursues opportunities to recruit and develop job candidates who have the desire and potential for becoming qualified employees through our Affirmative Action Plan.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>M&J is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to assist in the development, maintenance, and support of the respective project schedules for all assigned capital projects and be a part of the general Project Controls staff.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop comprehensive, risk-based schedules for new capital improvement projects in compliance with the required milestones and sequencing of capital work.</li>\n <li>Prepare a Resource Management Plan that describes how project resources will be acquired, allocated, monitored, and controlled. A KPI could include the Actual vs. Planned cost of each for proper tracking.</li>\n <li>Generate a critical path network schedule with activity duration estimates and costs that support effective and efficient reporting and the development of production work packages.</li>\n <li>Develop revised schedules to reflect changes in project scope, delays, or acceleration efforts.</li>\n <li>Establish Cost, Scope, Schedule, and Performance Baselines to monitor and analyze project progress in relation to scheduled activities and milestones.</li>\n <li>Perform monthly KPI analyses.</li>\n <li>Monitor monthly labor and resource demands on the respective project schedule and report variances and risks.</li>\n <li>Review and integrate respective project schedules from external stakeholders and provide feedback.</li>\n <li>Validate contractors’ project schedule accuracy. Prepare a comprehensive review memo.</li>\n <li>Participate in job site meetings.</li>\n <li>Prepare Time Impact Analysis (TIA) due to modifications and external factors.</li>\n <li>Review Contractor’s Time Impact Analysis</li>\n <li>Create an Integrated Change Control system to evaluate and approve/disapprove requested changes to any Baseline. Communicate within 48 hours any impacts (cost, scope, schedule, risk, resource, etc.) to the CTRL team. If change is approved, update the respective project schedule and the Integrated Master Schedule.</li>\n <li>Report monthly on the methodology of monitoring identified risks and new sources of risk regarding (cost, scope, schedule, risk, resource, etc.) to the PROJ team.</li>\n <li>Generate monthly reports to CTRL and other WMATA stakeholders on critical issues and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).</li>\n <li>Collaborate with both internal and external project stakeholders to develop schedules for new projects.</li>\n <li>Provide effective communication with each respective project team regarding milestones, deliverables, activities, and resources</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business, engineering, or related field of study.</li>\n <li>Minimum of seven (7) + years of experience with developing critical path project schedules for major capital transit projects and the ability to monitor schedules for key constraints such as (cost, scope, schedule, risk, resource, etc.).</li>\n <li>Five (5) + years of experience using Primavera (P6) scheduling software for large to medium-sized projects.</li>\n <li>Three (3) + years of construction scheduling experience with contractor; and</li>\n <li>Three (3) + years of construction claims experience.</li>\n <li>Certification as a PMI scheduling professional (PMI-SP) or AACEI Planning and Scheduling</li>\n <li>Professional (PSP)</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Deltek Acumen Fuse® is preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>M&J is a leader in providing quality engineering consulting services to a diverse and exciting client base.
