We are seeking dynamic professionals who embody our core values of Integrity, Commitment, and Excellence to join our growing Crew in support of our customers across the federal, state, and commercial markets.</p><p>We are seeking a Data Architect to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract.</p><p><strong>What You'll Be Doing</strong></p><ul><li>Design, deploy, and manage an organization's data architecture to ensure it supports strategic mission goals and vision.</li><li>Create a supporting vision and blueprint for data management systems, from initial design to long-term maintenance of the data environment.</li><li>Develop an overall short term (next 2 years) and long term (5-7 year) organizational data strategy aligned with business or mission processes and strategic mission goals.</li><li>Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models to guide data structure and flow.</li><li>Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technical functionality and ensure data accessibility.</li><li>Implement and audit security measures to protect data integrity and ensure compliance with governance policies.</li><li>Plan and execute large-scale data solutions.</li><li>Manage the end-to-end data lifecycle, from platform selection to testing and implementation.</li></ul><p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p><p><strong>Basic Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Must have 10, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience<ul><li>May be reduced with completion of advanced education</li></ul></li><li>Must have 5, or more, years of directly related experience</li><li>Must have 1, or more, years of experience working in a management or leadership role</li><li>Must be proficient in SQL development, database administration, and both RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) or equivalent.</li><li>Must have a mastery of visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau or equivalent to present complex data insights.</li><li>Must have strong coding skills for automation and data manipulation like Python, Java, C/C++, Perl or equivalent.</li><li>Must have experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.</li><li>Must have an understanding of Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and predictive modeling.</li><li>Must be familiar with MBSE and incorporating AI into legacy systems to streamline data output</li><li>Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Have a Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certification</li><li>Have 1, or more, Cloud-Specific Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Data Engineer.</li><li>Have a Cloudera Certified Professional (CCP) Data Engineer certification</li><li>Be an Oracle Database PL/SQL Developer Certified Professional.</li></ul><p><strong>Why LaunchTech?</strong></p><p>LaunchTech is built on a single standard: Excellence, Period.
