This senior-level individual contributor role requires deep technical expertise in .NET development, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.  </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Design, develop, and maintain ASP.NET Core APIs and backend services that support edge gateway and IoT device communication </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Build and optimize applications that interface with firmware over TCP sockets, local WiFi, and offline-tolerant architectures </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following established coding standards and best practices </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality across the team </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaborate with architects, product managers, firmware engineers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across distributed systems </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Contribute to technical documentation, API specifications, and system design decisions </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and delivery commitments </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Stay current with .NET ecosystem developments and recommend adoption of new tools and patterns where appropriate </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Support CI/CD pipeline improvements and DevSecOps practices </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education: </strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a similar field. Equivalent experience considered </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience: </strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>5-8 years of professional software engineering experience </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong experience with .NET (C#) and ASP.NET Core required </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with edge gateway/IoT communication patterns </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with SQLite and PostgreSQL databases </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Skills and Abilities</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Technical Proficiency</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Deep understanding of RESTful API design and integration patterns </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with Entity Framework Core or similar ORMs </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficiency with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Understanding of software testing practices (unit, integration, end-to-end) </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>AI-Augmented Development</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated prior experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Codex, GitHub Copilot) in daily engineering work </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to effectively leverage AI tools while maintaining code quality and security standards </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Experience</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Distributed systems experience </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with React.js or other modern frontend frameworks </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiarity with AWS cloud services </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with message brokers (MQTT, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS) </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Trunk-based development experience </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Travel:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Travel is less than 10%. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Standard and Physical Requirements:</strong> </p>\n<p>Position involves sitting long periods, standing, manual dexterity, stooping, bending and minimal lifting. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Alliance Team Members Demonstrate DRIVE: </strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Dedicated</strong>: Follows through on commitments.
