Description The Performing Arts and English programs at Saint Michael’s College invite applications for a full-time visiting fellow position in Performing Arts and English. Candidates should be prepared to teach Directing, Introduction to Acting, Theatre as Literature, and other courses; direct at least one (of two) mainstage production per year; mentor student directors; act as a mentor to the student Drama Club; and work with the Director of Public Relations to create publicity and PR for program events. Responsibilities The Performing Arts and English programs at Saint Michael’s College invite applications for a full-time visiting fellow position in Performing Arts and English. Candidates should be prepared to teach Directing, Introduction to Acting, Theatre as Literature, and other courses; direct at least one (of two) mainstage production per year; mentor student directors; act as a mentor to the student Drama Club; and work with the Director of Public Relations to create publicity and PR for program events. In addition, faculty members are expected to participate in school- and college-wide committees and service. The position includes shared responsibility for student advising as well as departmental activities and events.
