Job Summary:
The Global Services CTC Billing Operations Director is responsible for leading and optimizing the end-to-end billing function within a professional services environment. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant invoicing, supports revenue realization, and enhances client billing experience. The Director partners closely with finance, client facing professionals, on/off-off-teams, and leadership to drive operational excellence, process standardization, and scalable billing practices.
Job Duties:
Leads the centralized billing team, with on shore/offshore resources
Proactively identifies and mitigates billing execution risks
Serves as the executive escalation point for complex, sensitive, or high-risk billing matters
Establishes firm-wide standards, controls, and performance expectations for billing operations in partnership with process leads
Ensures accurate and timely billing across all engagement types
Oversees UAR & billing cycle times
Defines operating models, SLAs, productivity benchmarks, and quality standards
Drives documentation, training, and knowledge transfer for on/offshore teams
Influences behavior through data-driven insights and consistent governance
Supports firm initiatives related to end-to-end CTC initiatives
Partners with Global Process Leads, financial systems and technology teams on system and process improvements
Champions standardization, automation, and digitization across billing processes
Ensures strong internal controls over billing and revenue-related processes
Establishes clear accountability, performance metrics, and development pathways
Fosters a culture of quality, ownership, and continuous improvement
Serves as a visible leader within the firm's finance and operations organization
Other duties as required
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Monitors and provides performance feedback of all personnel reporting to this position throughout the performance year
Ensures all direct reports are effectively trained on systems and processes related to the finance department
Prepares and conducts annual performance reviews for all direct reports
Assists direct reports with prioritization of workload, communications, etc. and delegates work assignments to direct reports as appropriate
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Operations, preferred
Experience:
Twelve (12) or more years of progressive experience in billing, revenue operations, or finance, required
Experience in professional services, preferred
Proven leadership of centralized billing models, preferred
Demonstrated experience managing on/offshore or global delivery teams, preferred
Experience partnering with senior leadership and firm partners, preferred
Software:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel, required
Oracle Financials or similar software experience, preferred
Language:
N/A

Strong organizational abilities and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Financial acumen
Analytical ability
Excellent time management skills
Project management skills
Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
National Range: $175,000 - $190,000
Maryland Range: $175,000 - $190,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $175,000 - $190,000

"ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span><strong><u>Job Summary: </u></strong></span></p>\n<p><span>The Global Services CTC Billing Operations Director is responsible for leading and optimizing the end-to-end billing function within a professional services environment. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant invoicing, supports revenue realization, and enhances client billing experience. The Director partners closely with finance, client facing professionals, on/off-off-teams, and leadership to drive operational excellence, process standardization, and scalable billing practices. </span></p>\n<p><span><strong><u>Job Duties:</u></strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Leads the centralized billing team, with on shore/offshore resources</span></li>\n <li><span>Proactively identifies and mitigates billing execution risks</span></li>\n <li><span>Serves as the executive escalation point for complex, sensitive, or high-risk billing matters</span></li>\n <li><span>Establishes firm-wide standards, controls, and performance expectations for billing operations in partnership with process leads</span></li>\n <li><span>Ensures accurate and timely billing across all engagement types</span></li>\n <li><span>Oversees UAR & billing cycle times</span></li>\n <li><span>Defines operating models, SLAs, productivity benchmarks, and quality standards</span></li>\n <li><span>Drives documentation, training, and knowledge transfer for on/offshore teams</span></li>\n <li><span>Influences behavior through data-driven insights and consistent governance</span></li>\n <li><span>Supports firm initiatives related to end-to-end CTC initiatives</span></li>\n <li><span>Partners with Global Process Leads, financial systems and technology teams on system and process improvements</span></li>\n <li><span>Champions standardization, automation, and digitization across billing processes</span></li>\n <li><span>Ensures strong internal controls over billing and revenue-related processes</span></li>\n <li><span>Establishes clear accountability, performance metrics, and development pathways</span></li>\n <li><span>Fosters a culture of quality, ownership, and continuous improvement</span></li>\n <li><span>Serves as a visible leader within the firm's finance and operations organization</span></li>\n <li><span>Other duties as required</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Monitors and provides performance feedback of all personnel reporting to this position throughout the performance year</span></li>\n <li><span>Ensures all direct reports are effectively trained on systems and processes related to the finance department</span></li>\n <li><span>Prepares and conducts annual performance reviews for all direct reports</span></li>\n <li><span>Assists direct reports with prioritization of workload, communications, etc. and delegates work assignments to direct reports as appropriate</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong><u>Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:</u></strong></span></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:9pt\"><span><strong>Education:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Operations, preferred</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:9pt\"><span><strong>Experience:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Twelve (12) or more years of progressive experience in billing, revenue operations, or finance, required</span></li>\n <li><span>Experience in professional services, preferred</span></li>\n <li><span>Proven leadership of centralized billing models, preferred</span></li>\n <li><span>Demonstrated experience managing on/offshore or global delivery teams, preferred</span></li>\n <li><span> Experience partnering with senior leadership and firm partners, preferred</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:9pt\"><span><strong>Software:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel, required </span></li>\n <li><span>Oracle Financials or similar software experience, preferred</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:9pt\"><span><strong>Language:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>N/A</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:9pt\"><span><strong>Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Strong organizational abilities and problem-solving skills</span></li>\n <li><span>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</span></li>\n <li><span>Financial acumen</span></li>\n <li><span>Analytical ability</span></li>\n <li><span>Excellent time management skills</span></li>\n <li><span>Project management skills</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span>Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.</span></p>\n<p><span>National Range: $175,000 - $190,000</span><br><span>Maryland Range: $175,000 - $190,000</span><br><span>NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $175,000 - $190,000</span></p>",
