Understands functionality, integration points and impacts of proposed changes to supporting applications. Follows through with options and recommendations.</p></li><li><p>Provides appropriate documentation for design decisions, estimating assumptions, code modules, and performance metrics as required by organization standards. •Defines, conducts, and/or participates in testing (i.e. unit, system integration).</p></li><li><p>Collaborates with others regarding effectiveness of systems flow, data usage and manual or automated processes to verify requirements.</p></li><li><p>Ensures software development meets standards for programming, design, performance, quality, and security.</p></li><li><p>Participates in team activities and taking on additional work tasks as needed to help the team accomplish the desired outcome or goals.</p></li><li><p>Creates, maintains, and/or enhances system documentation as needed. Specialized Knowledge &amp; Skills Requirements •Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service •Basic knowledge and understanding of integration and migration strategies and technologies.</p></li><li><p>Basic knowledge and understanding of application architecture, design alternatives, and development standards.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated experience developing complex software/systems using one or more programming language.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated experience interpreting, modifying and writing application system design and program specifications.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated experience using and supporting integration and communications technologies between applications, databases and technology platforms.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated experience using relational databases and standard query language (SQL).</p></li><li><p>Solid knowledge and understanding of systems development life cycle (SDLC).</p></li><li><p>Solid knowledge and understanding of activities, tasks, tools and techniques for testing applications to ensure adherence to functional and quality requirements.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred:</b></p><ul><li><p><span>At least 1 to 3 years of experience providing customer-driven solutions.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Good knowledge of developing infrastructure as code using terraform.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Good understanding of developing applications using Java/Springboot, node.js and react.js.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Good knowledge of developing applications in at least one of the cloud platforms AWS or GCP.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p>Licenses:</p><ul><li><p>Not Applicable.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Travel Requirements:</p><ul><li><p>Up to 5%.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Physical Requirements:</p><ul><li><p>Work that primarily involves sitting/standing.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Working Conditions:</p><ul><li><p>Not Applicable.</p></li></ul><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li><span style=\"color:#242424\">To ensure a strong start, all employees participate in our New Employee Orientation during their first week.  This experience is held in person at our Madison, WI Headquarters or one of our AmFam core locations to help you connect with our mission, meet key team members and build relationships that support your growth.  At times, sessions may be delivered virtually based on scheduling and availability. </span></li><li>Offer to selected candidate will be made contingent on the results of applicable background checks</li><li>Offer to selected candidate is contingent on signing a non-disclosure agreement for proprietary information, trade secrets, and inventions</li><li>Sponsorship will not be considered for this position unless specified in the posting</li></ul><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><p>In this Hybrid role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783.<br />Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the office location. #LI-Hybrid</p><p></p><p>Internal Employees are welcomed to apply howevere this role will reqyiure you torelocate if you are not located with the 50 mile hybrid radius.</p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><span>We provide benefits that support your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing.
