    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div style=\"font-family:'Segoe UI';font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;line-height:20px;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><p>The Substance Use Family Navigator works to support families with loved ones who are using substances through one-to-one coaching, Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT) groups, educational sessions, resources/referrals to community or clinical supports, and other activities within their scope and expertise.</p><p>The Family Navigator is a key member of the Behavioral Health team and plays a crucial role in supporting recovery and stability for youth, young adults, and their families.</p><p>FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly</p><p>Starting Salary: $27.00&nbsp;</p><p><span data-teams=\"true\">Salary Range: &nbsp;This position is represented by a Union. &nbsp;Annual increases occur each year, with the current cap at 8 years or $36.95.&nbsp;</span></p><p>Reports To: Clinical Manager of Substance Use Services</p><p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES</p><p>Clinical Services Tasks</p><ol><li><p>The Family Navigator provides services to families and assists them with navigating the behavioral health system, regardless of the participation or engagement of their loved one in treatment or care.</p></li><li><p>When applicable, services may be offered separately to the family&rsquo;s loved one (i.e., client, patient) if participation would be mutually beneficial for both parties.</p></li><li><p>Utilize the evidence-based CRAFT and Family Training curriculum.</p></li><li><p>The Family Navigator will provide, at a minimum, two CRAFT groups per week.</p></li><li><p>Administer substance use assessments and provide individual and group counseling sessions in accordance with ASAM levels of care, as needed.</p></li><li><p>Diagnose substance use conditions in accordance with the most recently published Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), as needed.</p></li><li><p>Conduct urinary drug screenings to monitor client progress and inform treatment planning, as needed.</p></li></ol><p>Administrative Tasks</p><ol><li><p>Attend a virtual monthly CRAFT Facilitator Consultation session.</p></li><li><p>Administer surveys at monthly intervals to program participants.</p></li><li><p>Attend weekly or bi-weekly individual meetings with the Clinical Manager to review cases.</p></li><li><p>Participate in employee case consultations and division meetings.</p></li><li><p>Maintain awareness of the divisions within the agency and its internal resources.</p></li><li><p>Maintain case records in an accurate and timely manner per all WAC, COA, Medicaid, and King County requirements.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with internal and external providers to support families navigating the behavioral health system.</p></li></ol><p>Other Duties</p><p>Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee for this job. Education and Experience</p><ol><li><p>Associate degree in a human services field.</p></li><li><p>Licensed with the State of Washington as a Substance Use Disorder Professional or Trainee.</p></li><li><p>Fifty hours of SUDPT hours completed, preferred.</p></li><li><p>Trained in CRAFT.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated knowledge of MS365 Power Platform.</p></li></ol><p>b. Additional Requirements</p><ol><li><p>Must satisfactorily pass a criminal history check and complete a WATCH background check.</p></li><li><p>Must satisfactorily pass a tuberculosis (TB) test.</p></li><li><p>Must have reliable transportation and a valid Washington State driver&rsquo;s license (or be able to obtain one by the date of employment).</p></li><li><p>Employees and volunteers who operate their own or Friends of Youth vehicles on Friends of Youth business must have a safe driving record as defined by Friends of Youth.</p></li><li><p>Employees and volunteers who operate their own vehicle(s) on Friends of Youth business must carry auto liability insurance that complies with the requirements of Friends of Youth.</p></li><li><p>Must successfully complete the following health certification requirements within 30 days of employment: CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens.</p></li></ol><p>c.
