    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Due to a large contract win, Sapphire Utility Solutions are seeking several HGV Operatives based in Lancashire to work on our United Utilities workstream.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary:<span> </span></span>£34,815-£36,950 per annum (depending on experience)</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hours:<span> </span></span>50 hours per week (Monday to Friday, days. Flexible start times)</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Overtime:<span> </span></span>paid at time and a half.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Weekly pay</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the role:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We are seeking several HGV operatives to join us due to a large long term contract that Sapphire Utility Solutions have won. You will be driving one of our Class 2 vehicles and supporting with pre-survey's, CCTV and jetting of the drainage network. Ideally you will have drainage experience however training will be provided for the right candidate.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities - but not limited to:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>You will be operating a Class 2 vehicle (either a Cityflex or Recycler), ensuring vehicle checks are done prior to departing the site</li>\n<li>You will be working closely with another Drainage Engineer to clean, camera and carry out sewer investigations as directed by United Utilities</li>\n<li>Attending to customers, informing them of works to be carried out and answering any concerns as well as timescales</li>\n<li>Inspect drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks, or damage that could hinder water flow</li>\n<li>Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems.</li>\n<li>Assist with CCTV inspections where required to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers.</li>\n<li>Competent in using an electronic device - laptop / tablet for data entry purposes</li>\n<li>Ensuring safety issues are reported in line with company procedures</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements for the role:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A manual UK Drivers licence is mandatory with no more than 6 penalty points</li>\n<li>Holding a Class 2 licence with a valid in date CPC</li>\n<li>Experience is desirable however if you're looking to start your career within utilities full training will be offered.</li>\n<li>Excellent listening and communication skills</li>\n<li>Competent in IT, accurate data entry</li>\n<li>Team player</li>\n<li>Positive, can-do attitude</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we offer:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>20 Days holiday plus Bank Holidays accruing 1 day per year up to a maximum of 25 days</li>\n<li>Overtime paid at time and a half</li>\n<li>Pension</li>\n<li>Death in service</li>\n<li>Training and progression opportunities</li>\n<li>Full PPE provided</li>\n<li>£100 on the anniversary of start date, subject to continuous service</li>\n<li>Healthcare Cash Plan</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This position is open to Internal and External candidates.
