He or she is responsible for managing and monitoring the job performance of all program employees; assuring the quality of clinical services provided to persons served and the communications between program employees and agency administration.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What You Will Do</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Supervises and monitors environment to ensure that behavioral guidelines are followed, a therapeutic environment is maintained and interpersonal relationships remain positive.</li>\n <li>Monitors quality, effectiveness and efficiency of program’s clinical services and safety of environment of care.</li>\n <li>Manages program services, improves existing services and develops new treatment components to meet needs of persons served.</li>\n <li>Helps develop, implement and deploy agency policy and procedures.</li>\n <li>Provides clinical and administrative supervision to program staff.</li>\n <li>Interviews, hires, trains, appraises, disciplines and may terminate subordinate staff</li>\n <li>Provides administrative supervision for plant operations; ensures a safe and secure environment of care. </li>\n <li>Ensures clinical staff maintains accurate, complete and timely records that comply with regulatory standards and agency internal policy and procedure. </li>\n <li>Ensures that all program staff upholds the agency's Code of Conduct/Code of Ethics and comply with all Federal, state and local law/regulation, including 42 CFR confidentiality and HIPAA privacy and security regulations.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Who You Will Be</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling or Psychology with Four-Six (4-6) years’ experience in substance use and/or mental health treatment. Plus, at least Three-Five (3-5) years administrative/supervisory experience in the field of addiction and/or mental health for designated programs.</li>\n <li><strong>AND </strong></li>\n <li>OASAS CASAC certification (Advanced or Master Level) if not a licensed NYSED Qualified Health Professional (QHP) for designated programs.  </li>\n <li><strong>AND</strong> </li>\n <li>OASAS Clinical Supervision Foundations I & II (30 hours): Successful completion required by all Advanced and Master Level CASACs within one year of hire date for designated programs.  </li>\n <li><strong>OR </strong></li>\n <li>A licensed NYSED Qualified Health Professional (QHP) with licensure as LMSW or LMHC or LCSW or Psychologist with at least Four-Six (4-6) years’ experience in substance use and/or mental health treatment. Plus, least Three-Five (3-5) years administrative/supervisory experience in the field of addiction and/or mental health </li>\n <li>Knowledge of evidence-based treatments, managed care principles, and behavior practices.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and EHR.</li>\n <li>Seminar in Field Instructions (SIFI) preferred or willingness to obtain within One year from date of hire for all Program Directors that are Social Workers. </li>\n <li>Knowledge of OASAS, OMH, CSAT guidance. </li>\n <li>Ability to implement and monitor policy and procedure in accordance with agency guidelines.</li>\n <li>Knowledgeable about Federal, state and local law and regulation governing substance abuse treatment programs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#li-onsite</p>\n<p>#Indeed-HP</p>",
