What you'll do As a Field Engineer, you will be the face of our company at client locations, responsible for installing our products, providing on-site support, and ensuring their long-term success. Your role blends technical expertise and customer service skills to deliver smooth setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our solutions while fostering strong client relationships and technical reliability. You will also independently evaluate customer environments, design sensor implementation plans, and lead the technical strategy for installations, directing onsite resources to execute projects effectively and at scale. Responsibilities Perform on-site installation and configuration of our software and hardware solutions. Design project scopes and installation plans for new deployments. Advise customers on sensor network architecture and implementation best practices. Independently make decisions on troubleshooting and integration approaches. Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting as required. Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely delivery and setup of materials. Coordinate and align work across multiple sites or regions as needed. Train clients on the proper use and maintenance of installed products. Train and oversee contractors or junior technicians on installation processes. Document installation processes and client interactions in HubSpot CRM. Revisit sites for routine maintenance checks and client follow-ups. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company installation standards. Continuously study relevant subjects and pursue certifications to progress toward a Technical Support Engineer or Sales Engineer role. Requirements Solid experience with on-site installations and support in a tech environment. Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems relevant to our products. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and manage on-site responsibilities effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to provide training to clients. Proficiency in technical documentation and CRM software. Bonus Points Certifications in electrical, mechanical, or related fields.
