We are currently seeking a Shelf-Life/Disposal Specialist to join our team of professionals in support of the Navy Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC) Warehouse Support Services (WSS) Program.</p><p>Essential Duties &amp; Job Functions:</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Perform weekly and monthly analysis and verification of shelf-life material to support extension of expiration dates in accordance with published standards.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Identify stock discrepancies, improperly coded items, expired material, damaged stock, improper stowage, and labeling deficiencies.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Verify proper procedures are being used for testing and extending shelf-life material.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Support procurement and replenishment of shelf-life material with NMRLC Supply Division and other supporting entities.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Review shelf-life maintenance procedures and report stock discrepancies.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Perform reviews of shelf-life transaction records to ensure all documentation is completed correctly, and all applicable databases are updated accurately.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Research medical alert and recall messages related to shelf-life material utilizing DMLSS or other military databases of record.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\"><span data-contrast=\"none\" lang=\"EN-US\" class=\"TextRun SCXW14415229 BCX0\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW14415229 BCX0\">Coordinate with Government personnel and affected work centers on product recalls and affected stock.</span></span></li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Perform re-warehousing of material in accordance with Government stow plans.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Support annual inventories, location surveys, physical inventories, material handling, and inventory reconciliation efforts.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Perform Pick, Pack, Preserve, and Crate (PPP&amp;C) operations for EXMEDS kitting and shipping.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Pack and repack material utilizing standard packing methods and preservation techniques.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Perform administrative duties, including word processing, data correction, file maintenance, spreadsheet updates, and database entries.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Support turn-in of unserviceable shelf-life material, including review of disposal documentation and verification of material quantities prior to turn-in to DLA Disposition Services.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Operate material handling equipment as required.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Perform related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Professional Associations)</p><p>Experience</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">High School Diploma or equivalent required.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Experience in shelf-life management, warehouse operations, receiving, inventory management, and disposal processing.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Experience working with general supply activities and warehouse stock rotation.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Experience performing transaction record reviews and inventory reconciliation.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Experience utilizing DMLSS or similar inventory systems preferred.</li></ul><p>Additional Requirements</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\"><span data-contrast=\"none\" lang=\"EN-US\" class=\"TextRun SCXW14415229 BCX0\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW14415229 BCX0\">Must be able to operate various types of material handling equipment.&nbsp;</span></span></li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">A valid driver&rsquo;s license to drive stand-up and 4&ndash;6K forklifts.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Ability to lift, move, and stage warehouse material as required.</li></ul><p>Clearance</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Must be a United States Citizen</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Must be able to pass a background investigation (minimumT-1/NACI)</li></ul><p>*As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. </p></div></div>\n",
