    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>DAP is looking to hire 1 Production Manager for <strong>Morning shift.</strong><br><strong>Thursday to Sunday - 6am to 6pm</strong></p>\n<p>The Production Manager will work under the general direction of the Operations Manager, provides leadership for production teams within a high-performance environment. &nbsp;Has overall accountability for the results. &nbsp;Accountable for safety, productivity, continuous improvement, and all aspects of people management across day shifts or night shifts as assigned. &nbsp;Ensures MS 168 standards are met.</p>\n<p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<p><strong>Managing others</strong><br><br>\n Leads team in a manner consistent with RPM’s Values of Expectations of 168. &nbsp;Provides regular performance feedback and removes barriers that prevent the team from achieving goals. &nbsp;Demonstrates a sense of urgency and tenacity to resolve problems and implement process improvements. &nbsp;Direct the Packaging, Compounding Leads and plant personnel in assigned shifts to ensure safety, production, quality, and cleanliness requirements are met.</p>\n<p><strong>Daily assignments</strong></p>\n<p>Oversee daily employee job assignments to maximize use of plant labor and ensure all production reports are completed. Complete any reports as needed. Provides feedback and addresses performance issues as needed.</p>\n<p><strong>Monitor production flow</strong></p>\n<p>Oversee operational area relating to material flow to ensure high production efficiencies and smooth flow of incoming and outgoing materials. Must be able to show flexibility by making quick decisions to ensure daily goals are met.</p>\n<p><strong>Monitor quality</strong></p>\n<p>Responsible for maintaining a consistently high degree of product quality. &nbsp;Partners with Quality team to ensure DAP’s standards are met.</p>\n<p><strong>Maintain &amp; promote good safety &amp; housekeeping practices</strong></p>\n<p>Supports the Plant’s Safety Program. Ensures compliance of all safety programs and practices. &nbsp;Supports safety audits by participating monthly and ensuring supervisors participate as well. with the hourly personnel and assure full compliance with all procedures.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Communications</strong></p>\n<p>Effectively communicate with all members of the team. Be approachable and strive to build teamwork and positive morale. &nbsp; Conducts regular meetings to share information and ensure two-way communication. Uses DAP Star Recognition program.</p>\n<p><strong>Associate development</strong></p>\n<p>Assist in employee development, including motivation and training. &nbsp;Maintain an acceptable employee/management relationship in area of responsibility.
