    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">OrthoNY is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our orthopedic team at our brand new state of the art clinic in Wilton, NY!&nbsp;</span></p><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">You&#39;ll work directly alongside our providers&mdash;preparing patients for exams, assisting with hands-on care including casting, splinting, injections, and DME fitting.&nbsp;</span></p><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm</span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Preparing the patient for the exam by performing preliminary tests, as needed;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Reporting relevant information to the provider;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Assisting the provider with patient care as requested;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Performing scribe duties, as needed;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Reviewing treatment procedures with patients;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Assisting in ordering tests/retrieving results;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Reviewing discharge instructions;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Cast application, specialty cast, minor reductions/molding/suture/Staple removal and dressing changes;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Prepares injections, obtains cultures as ordered/needed;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Dispense Durable Medical Equipment (DME) to patients, application of DME, custom brace measurements, and, in some cases, ordering of DME inventory;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Verifying patient information; recording medical history and reporting to physician;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Demonstrate complete, accurate, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Maintain and safeguard all patient records as indicated and required by the policies of the practice and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA);</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Other responsibilities as assigned.</li></ul><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Graduate of an accredited school of nursing;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Unrestricted current LPN license to practice nursing in NYS required;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">1- 3 years of recent experience preferred;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Excellent communication and customer service skills;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records (EMR) preferred;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">CPR certification preferred</li></ul><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>Other Information</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Travel between offices as needed, reliable transportation is required.</li></ul></div></div>\n",
