    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Job Description</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Provides support to physician performing non-invasive and/or invasive cardiovascular procedures.</p>\n<p>Job Responsibility</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>1.Performs a variety of duties to prepare unit for non-invasive and/or invasive cardiovascular procedures.<br>\n  2.Ensures all instrumentation/equipment for each procedure is presented on table in established fashion.<br>\n  3.Prepares sterile field for procedures and adheres to aseptic technique, as required.<br>\n  4.Obtains and prepares physician equipment for procedure to be performed.<br>\n  5.Prepares patient for procedure. Responds to patient’s questions alleviating concerns regarding procedure. Ensures patient is correctly prepped and draped in a sterile fashion.<br>\n  6.Enters patient and procedural information into computer system.<br>\n  7.Monitors patient status during procedure, including hemodynamic data, electrocardiogram, blood pressure, chest pain, etc. Collects all pertinent data and calculations for physician’s interpretation of results.<br>\n  8.Balances, calibrates and records appropriate hemodynamic data as well as intervenes in cardiopulmonary emergencies.<br>\n  9.Operates equipment properly in a reliable manner, per departmental standards, complying with all safety guidelines/policies.<br>\n  10.Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
