The ideal candidate is expected to proactively identify where processes can be adapted and optimized to ensure cost effectiveness directly relating to operations. The main priorities of the position will be maintaining and improving safety, quality, and productivity. Responsibilities include project management, capital planning, maintenance of current processes, and support of the production and maintenance teams. The Process Engineer, Manufacturing, must possess the capabilities to drive requirements into the development of products and processes. Specifically, the Process Engineer&rsquo;s duties will include developing an in-depth knowledge of our supply base, strengths and weaknesses of internal procedures and business processes; strengths and weaknesses of equipment, and the strengths and weaknesses of key personnel who contribute to the quality of the products and services offered by the organization.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Responsibilities &amp; Expectations: &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp; &nbsp;</span></p><ul><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Continuously seeking out improvement opportunities for safety, quality, and productivity.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Management of assigned capital projects through initiation, planning, execution, controlling, and closing phases of said projects.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Identification of manufacturing process improvements and capital acquisitions that include communication by use of the PMI framework as part of project plans.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Prepare cost cost-benefit analysis to allow senior evaluation and approval of projects and continue to inform stakeholders as the project progresses.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Creation and maintenance of safe countermeasures to identified unsafe conditions, near misses, first aids, and any other safety opportunities for improvement.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Maintaining NCR and quality improvement activities to improve product and packaging quality from a customer perspective in terms of regulatory and assurance requirements.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Leading Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA / Control Plan) creation and updates (with supplier participation).</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Creation of process flow charts, OPLs, SOPs, SOSs, and other standardization documents.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Ensuring that all processes operate within lean manufacturing principles (value stream mapping, 5S, 3M, kanban, poka-yoke, 5Q0D, 5Why, kaizen, 5W1H, etc.).</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Conduct workflow analysis and make recommendations for improvement in material handling and plant layout.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Establish and maintain work standards for product costing and productivity measurement.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Create Change Controls as related to manufacturing process improvements.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Engineering degree, B. Eng.
