Candidates awarded the position can expect a base pay of $43,000 and high performers can expect a very generous monthly incentive and annual payout.**</p><p><strong>Primary Purpose of Job</strong></p><p><br>Manages a book of business by maintaining relationships with customers. Solicits prospective customers and sells suitable investment products. Partners with branches and licensed branch employees to grow the investment business.<br><br><strong>Major Job Accountabilities</strong></p><div><ul><li>Provides individual customer financial planning and advice utilizing advisory, insurance, annuities, and investment company products based on need.</li><li>Uses engagement and discovery process to uncover client needs and uses a holistic approach to financial planning.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensures own work and branch office is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines.</li><li>Develops a business plan to achieve sales goals and marketing activities.</li><li>Conducts presentations and solicits prospective customers for investment products/services based on customer suitability.</li><li>Contacts all assigned leads and branch referrals for appointments and sales presentations. &nbsp;</li><li>Tracks and reports results to branches and/or management.&nbsp;</li><li>Conducts branch meetings and training on a regular basis and engages in huddles and activities for all assigned branches.&nbsp;</li><li>Oversees, mentors, and trains licensed branch employees in assigned branches.</li><li>Partners with bankers and regularly meets to strategize on cross-referral opportunities.</li><li>Meets production and revenue goals as determined by management. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>Prepares and submits all required reports in a timely manner.</li><li>Keeps management updated regarding customer relationships and any potential issues that may arise and reports any written or verbal complaints immediately.</li><li>Participates in client appreciation events, seminars and other bank-sponsored events.</li></ul><p><br><br><strong>Experience Required</strong><br>Three (3) years of work experience in direct sales experience in the securities and/or insurance business.<br><br><strong>Required Skills or Training</strong></p><ul><li dir=\"auto\">Able to work during the business hours of assigned bank branches.</li><li dir=\"auto\">Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills to communicate effectively with both individuals and groups.</li><li dir=\"auto\">Demonstrates competency in use of computer applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email applications, and internet search engines.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Professional Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registration Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Holds current Hawaii Life and Health licenses and SIE, 7, and 66 securities registrations.</li><li>CFP, CLU, ChFC or equivalent designations is a plus.&nbsp;</li><li>Valid US driver&rsquo;s license and access to transportation</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>**This is a base plus incentive role.
